Research Assistant - Associate Scientist, Pharmacology

Job responsibilities:

1. Animal model and in vivo experiment support: Under the guidance of the project leader and team, participate in the establishment, optimization and daily maintenance of experimental animal disease models; Perform animal drug administration, sampling and related in vivo experimental operations according to the experimental plan; Assist in communicating with CROs and relevant departments within the company to support the promotion of drug development projects.
2. Cell biology experiments: Carry out cell-level research under the guidance, including cell culture, passaging, cryopreservation, gene transfection, and construction of basic functional cell models, for pharmacology evaluation and mechanism research.
3. Molecular biology experiments: Participate in routine molecular biology experiments, such as ELISA, qPCR, Western Blot, etc., and complete experimental operations, raw data recording, and basic results according to the established process.
4. Tissue sample processing and basic analysis: Assist in the collection and processing of animal tissue samples under standardized operating procedures, including hard tissue and paraffin tissue section preparation, immunohistochemical staining (IHC), conventional tissue staining, and in situ hybridization.
5. Experimental Records and Compliance Support: Standardize the recording of experimental processes and results, organize experimental data, and assist in completing experimental documents, reports, and related compliance materials.
6. Perform other tasks as assigned.

岗位职责：

1. 动物模型与体内实验支持：在课题负责人及团队指导下，参与实验动物疾病模型的建立、优化与日常维护；按实验方案执行动物给药、取样及相关体内实验操作；协助与CRO及公司内部相关部门沟通，支持药物研发项目推进。
2. 细胞生物学实验：在指导下开展细胞水平研究工作，包括细胞培养、传代、冻存、基因转染及基础功能性细胞模型的构建，用于药效评价及机制研究。
3. 分子生物学实验操作：参与常规分子生物学实验，如ELISA、qPCR、Western Blot 等，按照既定流程完成实验操作、原始数据记录及基础结果整理。
4. 组织样本处理与基础分析：在规范操作流程下，协助完成动物组织样本的采集与处理，包括硬组织和石蜡组织切片制备、免疫组织化学染色（IHC）、常规组织染色及原位杂交等实验操作。
5. 实验记录与合规支持：规范记录实验过程与结果，整理实验数据，协助完成实验文档、报告及相关合规性材料。
6. 完成上级交办的其他任务。

Job Requirements:

1. Educational background: Bachelor’s degree or above in biology, biotechnology, biomedicine, pharmacy, basic medicine or related majors; With Bachelor’s a 2–3 years of relevant work experience or 1 year of relevant work experience with a Master’s degree.
2. Professional skills and experimental experience: mastering the basic principles of cell biology and molecular biology experiments; Experience in cell culture, passaging, cryopreservation and gene transfection is preferred. Familiar with conventional molecular biology experiments, such as ELISA, qPCR, and Western Blot is preferred. Experience with laboratory animals (such as mice, cynomolgus monkeys, etc.) is preferred.
3. Basic Histology and Pathology: Knowledge of or exposure to tissue sample handling processes, including tissue fixation, dehydration, embedding, sectioning, tissue staining, or immunohistochemistry (IHC) is preferred.
4. Data recording and scientific research specifications: Have good experimental recording habits, be able to complete experimental operations and original data collation in accordance with SOP specifications and understand scientific research compliance and data traceability requirements. Proficient in Microsoft office software and statistical analysis software.
5. Communication, collaboration and learning ability: have good learning ability and sense of responsibility and be able to efficiently complete experimental tasks under guidance; Have a good sense of teamwork and communication skills and be able to collaborate smoothly with team members and relevant departments.
6. Work attitude and professionalism: serious and meticulous work, strong execution, and certain ability to withstand pressure; He has a strong interest in innovative drug research and development or biomedical research and is willing to develop in the direction of research and development for a long time.
7. English proficiency requirement: Good listening, reading and writing skills in English are desired; excellent spoken English is preferred.

4. 工作态度与职业素养：工作认真细致，执行力强，具备一定抗压能力；对创新药研发或生物医药研究具有浓厚兴趣，愿意长期在研发方向发展。
5. 英文能力要求：具有较好的英文听读和写作能力，口语优秀者优先。
