EU Sales Director
ANINE BING is looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to join our Wholesale team, based in our Paris Headquarters.
This role will lead and expand our wholesale business across Europe, assuming full responsibility for strategy, sales performance, and regional growth.

With extensive experience in the premium and luxury sector, this individual is a strategic, relationship-driven leader who thrives on building strong partnerships and driving sales across key wholesale channels.
This role reports to the SVP of Global Wholesale.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the SVP of Global Wholesale to develop and execute a comprehensive sales and distribution strategy for the European market, segmented by channel, country, and product category.
- Lead all aspects of regional wholesale operations, with a focus on growing sales, increasing market share, and elevating brand presence.
- Manage and develop external wholesale agents across key territories including France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Scandinavia, DACH and Eastern Europe, ensuring alignment with brand standards and sales goals.
- Build and maintain key relationships with Tier A department stores and specialty accounts across Europe, ensuring alignment with ANINE BING’s brand positioning.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and performance analysis by account and region to inform global planning and merchandising decisions.
- Manage and mentor a regional sales team, ensuring performance targets are met and exceptional customer service is delivered across all accounts.
- Partner cross-functionally with Brand and Paid Marketing teams to drive brand campaigns through co-op and trade marketing initiatives.
- Own all seasonal market preparation and showroom coordination for Paris; oversee market appointments, order management, and platform usage (Joor/NuOrder, NetSuite, and EDI).
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in luxury or advanced contemporary wholesale, including a minimum of 4 years in leadership roles. Experience in RTW is essential; experience in leather goods and footwear is preferred.
- Strong track record of sales growth and business development across the European market.
- Experience overseeing external agents across diverse markets such as France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Scandinavia, DACH and Eastern Europe.
- Existing relationships with major global department stores and online retailers such as Harrods, Selfridges, Galeries Lafayette, Le Bon Marché, KaDeWe, and others.
- Bilingual in French and English – both written and verbal communication are essential.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, including retail math, forecasting, and dilution management.
- Skilled in storytelling and brand representation, with an eye for visual merchandising and in-store execution.
- Availability to travel regularly throughout Europe and internationally as needed.
