Associate People Business Partner (Associate HRBP)
We’re looking for a People Business Partner to lead People strategy for our Commercial organization. This includes Retail, Ecommerce, and Wholesale—three fast-moving, globally connected teams that sit at the heart of our client experience.
These are the teams that bring our brand to life—whether through in-store styling, digital merchandising, or global sales strategy. This role enables performance and empowers the people who serve our clients directly and drive our growth.
You’ll be the single point of contact for our global Retail team and a strategic partner to the Chief People Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, and Commercial leaders. It’s a visible, hands-on role where you’ll unlock performance, develop talent, and shape an employee experience as elevated and intentional as our brand.

This role is based at our Los Angeles HQ on a hybrid schedule with a preference for in-person work.
Responsibilities Include
- Act as the lead HR partner for all Commercial functions, with full-cycle HR ownership of the Retail organization.
- Align with the EU HR Director on all People topics in Europe; this role reports into them for HR matters across the EU Commercial teams
- Build and implement performance management frameworks that raise the bar and reinforce accountability
- Partner with the CPO on compensation strategy, providing guidance on pay decisions, total rewards, and internal equity
- Advise leaders on succession planning and long-term team design—identifying gaps before they appear
- Lead employee relations with empathy, fairness, and clarity, escalating when needed
- Track and report on key HR metrics—retention, turnover, hiring KPIs, and team demographics—turning insights into action
- Own full-cycle HR support, including headcount planning, recruiting, and onboarding for Commercial roles—with support from our HR Coordinator and the Field leadership team
- Build strong relationships with field leaders and stay close to the day-to-day realities of our stores and Commercial teams—ensuring People strategy is grounded in business context
Requirements
- 5+ years of HR experience, with a focus on retail or customer-facing teams in high-growth environments. Experience in fashion or a related industry is required.
- Deep knowledge of performance management, employee relations, labor law and compliance, and compensation fundamentals
- Strong analytical orientation—you know how to use data to tell a story and drive decisions
- Comfort advising senior leaders with confidence and candor, while also being accessible to hourly employees
- A global, brand-aligned mindset—with warmth, humility, and bias toward action

The target compensation for this role is between $80,000 - $90,000 annually.
