Senior Stylist - QV, Melbourne
You are an energetic, positive, and motivated senior team member and an integral part of our world-class sales team. You will contribute to our culture of efficiency, fun, and best-in-class customer service.
This role reports to our Sydney-based Area Manager and is responsible for prioritising sales and customer experience in-store, in addition to the responsibilities outlined below.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations
- Open and close the store, including EOD reporting, till management, stock replenishment, and thorough cleaning.
- Lead by example with punctuality—be the first to arrive. If you’re not 5 minutes early, you’re late.
Client Management & Sales
- Greet all customers warmly, providing exceptional service and styling expertise.
- Maintain best-in-class product knowledge and styling skills.
- Support customers with wardrobe outfitting and personalised styling.
- Understand and manage VIP client needs with discretion and attention.
- Proactively reach out to customers daily to achieve sales targets.
- Keep a detailed client book of VIPs, including contact details, spend totals, personal notes, and outreach preferences, managed through Endear (CRM).
- Track customer requests for items not available in-store.
- Respond promptly to all phone and email inquiries.
- Drive both personal and team sales to exceed KPIs (monthly budgets, AOV, IPT, and conversion rates).
Leadership & Senior Staff Duties
- Ensure smooth daily business operations.
- Train casual staff on procedures and sales techniques when the manager is not present.
- Uphold the highest standard of personal presentation in line with the ANINE BING aesthetic.
- Oversee store merchandising and presentation.
Stock Management
- Receive deliveries and manage unpacking processes.
- Prevent stock loss and maintain organised stock rooms.
- Share stock and product knowledge across the team.
- Liaise with the US team regarding stock fulfilment processes.
- Conduct quarterly full inventory stocktakes.
Reporting
- Complete end-of-day reporting.
- Provide weekly wrap-ups when the manager is not present.
- Submit monthly product feedback in the manager’s absence.

- Support store operations, including inventory management, reporting, virtual order fulfilment, and visual merchandising.

- Proven ability to build and maintain a client book.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.

- Organised, tidy, and professional in presentation.

- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft, and G Suite.
