FP&A ANALYST

Paris, France

ANINE BING is looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team based in Paris.

This role is an opportunity to help shape the next chapter of ANINE BING. As a key contributor within our Paris HQ team, the FP&A Analyst brings both analytical rigor and hands-on execution to their work — turning financial data into clear, decision-ready insight that supports our global growth while staying grounded in the brand’s DNA: refined, fast-moving, and always evolving.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a creative yet performance-driven environment. The ideal candidate combines a sharp eye for detail with a clear sense of the big picture: comfortable in the numbers, curious about the business behind them, and energized by building structure in a scaling brand — together.

This is a full-time permanent position (CDI) based at our Paris HQ (with 4 days per week in the office and 1 day of remote work possible). The role reports to the FP&A Manager.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Budgeting & forecasting: support the annual budget, monthly reforecasts, and long-range planning cycles across all channels (retail, e-commerce, wholesale) and regions — US, Europe, and Asia — on a global scope.
  • Margin & profitability analysis: build and maintain margin analyses by channel, market, category, and SKU (gross margin, markdown impact, cost of goods, freight and duties) and translate findings into clear recommendations.
  • Monthly reporting: own the preparation of the global monthly management reporting package — actuals vs. budget and forecast by region and channel, variance analysis, KPI dashboards — and deliver it on a reliable cadence to the FP&A Manager.
  • Business partnering: work closely with Retail, Wholesale, E-Commerce, and Merchandising teams across regions to challenge assumptions, model scenarios, and support commercial decisions (store P&Ls, pricing, promotional plans, inventory productivity).
  • Financial modeling: develop and maintain models for store openings, market entries, and investment cases; contribute to ad hoc analyses requested by the CFO and leadership team.
  • Data & tools: improve reporting automation and data quality across the finance stack (NetSuite, Excel / Google Sheets, BI tools), in coordination with Accounting and IT.
  • Continuous improvement: contribute to the structuring of the FP&A function — templates, processes, and documentation — as the brand scales internationally.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or financial analysis.
  • Prior experience in a retail or fashion company is required — with a working understanding of the specific dynamics of the sector: multi-channel P&L, seasonality, markdowns, inventory, and store economics.
  • Demonstrated experience with margin analysis (gross margin, product margin, channel profitability) and the ability to explain margin drivers to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets and financial modeling skills; experience with an ERP (NetSuite is a plus) and a BI or reporting tool (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or equivalent).
  • Degree in Finance, Business, or Engineering (Master’s level or equivalent).
  • Fluent English required (global scope, US HQ, international teams); French professional proficiency preferred.
  • Clear written and verbal communication — able to synthesize complex analyses into concise, decision-oriented messages for senior stakeholders.

Benefits & Perks

  • At ANINE BING Paris, we combine creative ambition with a people-first culture. Expect generous time off (including RTT), flexible work, exclusive discounts on our collections, and private sales access — so you can live the brand as much as you build it.
  • Style Perks: enjoy a generous employee discount and seasonal wardrobe allotments — so you can live the brand, not just represent it.
