Director, Platform Sales

United States

Annexus Health is a healthcare technology company providing the connected infrastructure behind patient financial assistance. We combine technology, automation, intelligence, and operational expertise to connect people, programs, and workflows. That connectivity helps providers and life sciences organizations navigate complexity, improve access to financial assistance, and make a meaningful impact throughout the patient journey.

If you're passionate about solving complex healthcare challenges, bringing new ideas forward, and having a meaningful hand in what comes next, we'd love to meet you.

Director, Platform Sales

We are seeking a Director, Platform Sales to drive new business growth across a defined territory of hospitals, health systems, and high-growth provider organizations. Reporting to the SVP, Platform Sales, you will own the full sales cycle for a target account list, building relationships with executive and revenue cycle leadership to bring Annexus Health’s patient access and financial assistance technology to healthcare organizations that need it most.

The ideal candidate is a consultative, quota-driven seller who thrives on opening new relationships and knows how to navigate the complexity of a healthcare provider organization — from Revenue Cycle Management leadership to the C-suite. They bring a track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise SaaS deals and are equally comfortable building pipeline from scratch as they are managing a disciplined, forecastable sales process through close.

In this role, you will identify and prioritize target accounts, run a consultative sales process that connects Annexus Health’s solutions to a provider organization’s financial and operational goals, and negotiate and close new logo business. You will work closely with the Strategic Account Management and Customer Success teams to ensure a smooth transition from close to onboarding, and with Marketing and Sales Development to help shape outbound strategy for your territory.

The work you do with our team will directly improve health outcomes by connecting people with the care, pharmacy benefits, data, and resources they need to feel their best. Come make an impact on the communities we serve as you help us advance health equity.

What You Will Do:

  • Own and drive new business sales for a defined territory of hospitals, health systems, integrated delivery networks, and high-growth provider organizations, from prospecting through close
  • Build and manage a healthy, accurately forecasted pipeline sufficient to consistently meet or exceed quota, tracked and reported through Salesforce
  • Develop and execute account and territory plans that identify, prioritize, and target the right accounts and buying centers within each organization
  • Build relationships and credibility at all levels of a healthcare provider organization, including Revenue Cycle Management leadership and executive-level roles (CFO, COO, VP of Revenue Cycle, and others)
  • Run a consultative, needs-based sales process — asking probing questions to uncover a prospect’s financial and operational priorities and clearly articulating how Annexus Health’s solutions address them
  • Lead and coordinate internal resources (solutions, product, executive sponsors) throughout the sales cycle to build a compelling, well-supported business case
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing in partnership with internal stakeholders to close new logo business
  • Partner with Sales Development and Marketing to shape outbound prospecting strategy and campaigns for your territory
  • Partner with Strategic Account Management and Customer Success to ensure a smooth handoff and successful onboarding for newly closed accounts
  • Maintain a deep, current understanding of the patient access, revenue cycle, and financial assistance landscape, and represent the voice of the market back to product and leadership
  • Provide accurate forecasts and regular pipeline and territory updates to the SVP, Platform Sales and broader leadership team

 About You:

  • 7+ years of enterprise or complex B2B SaaS sales experience, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota
  • Experience selling into healthcare provider organizations (hospitals, health systems, or provider groups); revenue cycle management or patient access experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success building net-new pipeline and closing new logo business, not just managing an existing book
  • Experience presenting and consulting with C-Suite and VP-level executives
  • Skilled in consultative, needs-based selling with the ability to navigate long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and modern sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesloft, Outreach.io, Definitive Healthcare)
  • Ability to travel 30-40% of the time based on business needs
  • Execution and high-performance mindset, with the discipline to manage a forecastable, well-run sales process

It's a plus if you have:

  • Experience selling healthcare IT, RCM, or patient financial experience solutions specifically
  • Existing relationships or network within hospital and health system revenue cycle or executive leadership
  • Experience selling through or alongside a private equity-backed growth story
  • Familiarity with value-based selling frameworks and building ROI-driven business cases for healthcare finance leaders
