Junior Data Analyst

We're looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our Analyst team to deliver accurate, timely data to our customers and internal stakeholders. In this role, you will partner with our commercial team to deliver standard data, including creating custom visualizations in Excel or Powerpoint, managing syndicated reports, and managing recurring and ad-hoc data requests. The incoming Junior Data Analyst will join a collaborative team who requires a reliable, high performing team member who delivers data accurately and on-time. A candidate who is interested in a career in data will find a lot of opportunities for growth at Antenna.  

You will report to the VP, Operations and work closely with Insight Analysts and the Data Operations team. Antenna is a remote-first company, and we are looking for candidates who can work during US business hours. Preferably, you should be based in a US time zone (Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific).

What You’ll Do 

  • Manage custom data requests from internal and external stakeholders. This includes accurately and efficiently extracting, formatting, and/or visualizing data
  • Successfully manage multiple project timelines, while collaborating effectively with multiple cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Own and maintain detailed documentation about our delivery standards, including templates, automation code, and instructions for other Antenna team members to reference 
  • Drive continuous process improvement efforts to deliver more in less time. Partner with cross-functional team members to deliver existing and new metrics according to Antenna’s best practices and client standards 
  • Support ad-hoc administrative projects with an eye to detail, ensuring to deliver the full scope of the request and to deliver on time

What the Day-to-Day Looks Like 

  • Review your tasks and scope of work as assigned in Jira; work with Client Services, Sales, or Marketing to ensure requirements are clearly defined
  • Determine how to extract data - Antenna’s proprietary interface, custom SQL, etc. 
  • Visualize data according to Antenna’s brand guidelines and product easy-to-understand charts in Microsoft Excel or Powerpoint
  • Peer review other analysts materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with Antenna’s guidelines
  • Update python automations in preparation for next month’s projects 
  • Learn about new Antenna metrics and why it matters to our customers and the broader subscription economy

Who You Are

  • 1+ years of experience in data analytics and/or market research role
  • Strong knowledge and experience in charting data in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Advanced English proficiency (B2-C1); Excellent communication, interpersonal and consulting skills
  • Some knowledge and experience in using business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.).
  • Working knowledge and experience working with SQL. Bonus: Experience working with Python
  • Results-driven with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter mentality with the capacity to manage multiple initiatives, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
