Job Description:
Antheia is seeking a Project Manager who will play a crucial role in planning, managing, and executing various projects and initiatives for the organization. This position will report to the Head of Program/Project Management. You will lead cross-functional teams in delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget while aligning with organizational goals. An effective Project Manager is a strategic, meticulous, and motivated leader who fosters collaboration and drives teams toward shared success. They are an organized facilitator with a passion for the Life Sciences industry. They excel in project management, communicate with ease across all levels, and are a thoughtful and efficient problem solver.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the execution of projects from end to end. Provide oversight for all project deliverables including managing and tracking timelines and project metrics.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure alignment and that project deliverables are successfully met.
- Lead teams by organizing and managing resources spanning internal and external functions and sites. Serve as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Partner with teams to establish objectives and implement processes to track, measure, and validate results. Monitor project progress and provide regular performance updates.
- Lead project meetings. Support teams and leadership by helping with prioritization and driving decisions.
- Develop and own the project timelines which includes maintaining the schedules and tracking milestones.
- Monitor project budgets and expenses.
- Recognize shifts in project complexity/scope/timing and adjust accordingly.
- Assist in resource allocation and ensure that project resources are utilized efficiently.
- Identify project risks, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively monitor and report on risk factors to ensure timely resolution. Address issues and escalate concerns that can jeopardize the projects.
- Prepare and maintain all project related documentation. Ensure all documentation is accurate, accessible, and current.
- Set up and maintain projects using applicable project management tools.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, following up on action items, organizing project files, and preparing presentations.
- Lead cross-functional teams in conducting postmortem reviews following project completion to capture and communicate key findings for continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned[1]
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience, preferably with fermentation-derived products in biotech, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or food & beverage, with at least 3 years of project management experience.
- Relevant knowledge and experience with project management methodologies, best practices, and tools.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- A dynamic leader adept at planning, active listening, questioning, guiding, collaborating, and motivating teams.
- An excellent communicator who can organize complex project direction, simplify, and articulate into actionable tasks for cross functional teams.
- A self-starter who is skilled at handling numerous projects, multiple priorities, and managing tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- A detailed and results-oriented person who is flexible, comfortable with ambiguity, and adapts to shifting priorities.
- A strategic thinker when it comes to time management, stakeholder management, resolving issues, change management, and managing expectations.
Additional Information:
Full-time base salary range of $140,000 – 160,000 plus an annual bonus potential and equity opportunities.
