AnthroMed's partner school in the Brighton Area is looking for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a great opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about helping older learners build communication skills that support academic success, independence, and post-secondary readiness.
The clinician in this role will be the sole SLP in the building and should feel confident working independently while collaborating closely with teachers, special education staff, and administration.
 
Additional details:
  • School hours: 7:30am – 2:20pm
  • Private office space provided
  • Caseload focused on mild CI programming
  • Competitive salary range: $57,500 – $75,000

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate students’ speech-language abilities and develop treatment plans
  • Provide high-quality direct speech-language therapy services aligned with IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, analyze results, and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Address needs in speech, language, fluency, voice, pragmatics, and oral motor skills
  • Use evidence-based research and professional literature to guide clinical decisions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and problem-solving discussions
  • Collaborate with instructional staff using strength-based, child- and family-centered practices
  • Ensure compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
  • Support teachers in identifying and referring students with speech and language concerns
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Michigan SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience working with school-aged children
  • Knowledge of special education laws and procedures, including IDEA and IEP development
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
