Location: Odessa, DE

Schedule: 3 days with high school & 1 day with elementary school (28 hours per week)

Duration: August 17, 2026 - June 15, 2027

Salary: $60,000-$75,000 based on experience and qualifications

AnthroMed is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide onsite therapy in Odessa, DE. You'll be making an impact with their high school students, as well as assisting their transitions program. If you enjoy working with older learners and have a passion for AAC this is the role for you!

Caseload Details:

  • Treating students in 9th-12th grade, and supporting 18-22 year olds in the transition program
  • Primarily working with children with Autism, but will also cover a few gen-ed students
  • The caseload will be approximately 25 students
  • 1 day/week at elementary school supporting students in the gen ed setting
  • The selected OT should be comfortable implementing AAC, addressing behaviors, addressing sensory needs & proprioceptive input, and working as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized educational plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based interventions to address fine motor and sensory regulation needs.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support students’ skills across both classroom and individual settings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Utilize IEP system for management and compliance.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities.
  • Enjoy a dedicated office space for therapy sessions and planning.

What You Need:

  • Certification as an Occupational Therapist in the state of DE
  • Previous experience working with children or in a school-based setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for working with diverse student populations.
