Salary Range: $60,000–$70,000 annually
About the Opportunity
AnthroMed Education is partnering with a school in Chicago Heights, IL to welcome a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time role supports students in an early childhood and elementary program serving PreK–5th grade. The ideal SLP will have a strong foundation in early language development, AAC, and play-based intervention.
What You’ll Do
- Provide speech and language therapy services for PreK–5th grade students
- Support early language development through individualized intervention
- Incorporate AAC and play-based strategies into therapy as appropriate
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student communication needs
- Participate in evaluations, IEP meetings, and ongoing student support
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Caseload Details
- PreK–5th grade student population
- Focus on early language development, AAC, and play-based intervention
- Full-time, onsite position
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License (IDFPR)
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
