Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite | 35 hours/week | 8:00 AM–3:30 PM
Salary Range: $58,000–$80,000 annually

About the Opportunity

AnthroMed Education is partnering with a supportive educational organization to welcome a full-time School Social Worker for the 2026–2027 school year. This onsite, district-wide itinerant position will support students across PreK–5th grade, providing a combination of therapy services and evaluations throughout the district.

This is an excellent opportunity for a social worker who enjoys working across multiple school settings and supporting students with a variety of social-emotional and behavioral needs.

What You’ll Do

• Provide school-based social work services to students in PreK–5th grade

• Provide individual and/or small-group therapy services based on student needs

• Conduct social-emotional and behavioral evaluations

• Support students through individualized interventions and services

• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and related service providers

• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration

• Provide recommendations and strategies to support students in the classroom

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Travel between schools throughout the district as needed to provide services

Caseload Details

• PreK–5th grade student population

• District-wide itinerant position

• Services provided across multiple school buildings

• Caseload includes both therapy services and evaluations

• Full-time schedule of 35 hours per week

• Onsite position

• Daily schedule is 8:00 AM–3:30 PM

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)

• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively across multiple school settings

• Experience providing school-based therapy and/or evaluations preferred
