We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Startup Partnerships team and drive the strategic expansion of Anthropic's presence in EMEA. In this role, you will manage a team of partnership leads while developing strategic relationships with major accelerators, venture capital firms, and startup communities worldwide. You will be responsible for scaling our startup GTM efforts across multiple regions and building the organizational capabilities needed to support thousands of startups in their AI transformation journey.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of startup partnership professionals across EMEA
• Define and execute Anthropic's EMEA startup partnership strategy and scalable frameworks
• Build strategic relationships with top-tier VCs, accelerators, and startup ecosystem leaders
• Drive significant market expansion through the startup channels
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align startup needs with product development and GTM efforts
• Establish measurement frameworks and success metrics for all partnership initiatives

You may be a good fit if you have:

• 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or go-to-market roles
• 3+ years of people management experience building and scaling teams
• Deep expertise in the EMEA startup ecosystem, venture capital, and AI/ML technology landscape
• Proven ability to develop and execute multi-year strategic initiatives across global markets
• Experience with building strategic relationships with external stakeholders
• Exceptional communication skills with C-level executives and technical audiences
• Strong analytical skills and data driven decision-making approach
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Passion for the positive impact that AI can have for startups and society

Logistics

Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.

Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.

We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
