Partner Marketing Manger, GSI & SI

San Francisco, CA | New York City, NY

About Anthropic

Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.

About the role

As a Partner Marketing Manager for Global and Regional System Integrators at Anthropic, you'll own marketing for our highest-performing services partners. That includes Global Premier GSIs and the regional systems integrators (RSIs) closing the most partner-attached Claude deals. You'll report to the lead for Services Partner Marketing and work alongside each partner's Partner Account Manager.

You'll build a joint marketing plan with each partner and run executive programs and joint announcements. You'll also turn partner deliveries into the customer proof our field needs. Partners are now attached to a large and fast-growing share of Anthropic's biggest enterprise deals. Your job is to make those partnerships deliver more every quarter.

This role is hands-on. You'll think strategically about each partner relationship while running the campaigns, events and enablement yourself. Our scaled programs team supports the rest of the partner network. You'll focus on the partners where hands-on marketing moves the most business, and use those scaled programs where they fit.

Key responsibilities

Partner Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Own joint marketing plans for an assigned group of high-performing GSI and RSI partners, including quarterly planning, campaign calendars, and success metrics tied to target accounts and pipeline goals
  • Develop joint campaigns and executive programs (CXO dinners, executive briefings, tentpole event activations) aimed at C-suite and senior decision-makers at enterprise customers
  • Work with Partner Account Managers and the Alliances team to identify priority accounts and build account-based plays that leverage partner relationships
  • Lead joint announcements from first draft through approvals, holding partner copy to Anthropic's messaging and brand standards
  • Spot RSIs gaining traction and help them grow into higher tiers

Content, Proof & Enablement

  • Build joint value propositions, messaging, and enablement materials (pitch decks, solution briefs, case studies) that help partners position Claude with their enterprise clients
  • Turn partner deliveries into proof: capture wins for sellers, and work with Customer Marketing to produce partner-led customer stories that meet each partner's tier requirements
  • Get your partners carrying Anthropic's priority messages and launches, and build them into Anthropic's own campaigns with the Campaigns team
  • Put the team's co-marketing guidelines, campaign kits and self-serve assets to work across your partners

Program Management & Measurement

  • Lead end-to-end execution with your partners, coordinating across product marketing, demand generation, field marketing, events and agencies
  • Manage partner funding (MDF/co-op) for your partners and track ROI on joint investments
  • Track and report partner-sourced and influenced pipeline, story output, and campaign ROI, with 30/60/90-day pipeline tracking on every activation
  • Represent Anthropic at partner events, executive briefings, and industry conferences as needed
  • Feed what works back into playbooks the scaled programs team can run across the wider partner network

Minimum qualifications

  • Have built and run partner marketing programs with Global System Integrators, major consulting firms, or regional systems integrators, and can shift between large firms and smaller, faster-moving ones
  • Understand enterprise buyer journeys and can create marketing programs that resonate with C-level executives
  • Are skilled at developing joint value propositions that articulate clear business outcomes for enterprise customers
  • Build trusted relationships with partner marketing and sales teams, and can move a partner on priorities you don't control
  • Can own a partner portfolio end to end within a team strategy, and know when to escalate
  • Are highly organized and detail-oriented, and can run multiple partner plans at once without dropping quality
  • Write clearly and precisely, with experience creating executive-level content and holding partner copy to a high bar
  • Are data-driven and comfortable tracking marketing metrics, analyzing performance, and optimizing programs based on results
  • Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and are comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Have a "get it done" mentality and aren't afraid to jump in wherever needed to ensure program success
  • Care about the societal impacts of AI and are excited about enabling enterprises to adopt AI responsibly

Preferred qualifications

  • Have 7+ years of marketing experience, with significant focus on partner marketing in B2B technology environments
  • Experience in the AI/ML industry or working with AI-powered products
  • Established relationships within the GSI, consulting or regional SI ecosystem
  • Worked on the partner side, at a GSI or SI, in alliance or technology partner marketing
  • Experience with tiered partner programs, including benefits and promotion reviews
  • Experience producing partner-led customer stories with enterprise customers
  • Understanding of enterprise AI use cases across different industries and functions
  • Experience with CRM systems (such as Salesforce) and partner relationship management tools
  • Used Claude or other AI tools to scale their own marketing work

How we're different

We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.

The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Agreement to Arbitrate

I understand and agree that both Anthropic and I waive our respective rights to trial by jury in connection with any claims covered by this agreement to arbitrate. Instead, any disputes arising out of or related to my application for employment with Anthropic shall be settled by final and binding arbitration pursuant to the Federal Arbitration Act. I understand and agree that Anthropic’s employees/agents, Anthropic’s clients, and their employees/agents are third-party beneficiaries to this agreement.

The arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the Employment Arbitration Rules & Procedures of Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services, Inc. (“JAMS Rules”), available via the internet at https://www.jamsadr.com/rules-employment-arbitration or by searching for “JAMS Employment Arbitration Rules” in an online search service such as www.google.com. To the extent the JAMS Rules are inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement, this Agreement shall govern to the extent permitted by law. The parties will select one neutral arbitrator, who will have the authority to award all relief in law or equity that is requested by the parties and supported by credible, relevant, and admissible evidence. The arbitrator shall allow adequate discovery and issue a written, signed, and reasoned award. Judgement may be entered on the arbitrator’s award in any court having jurisdiction, and the award shall be subject to correction, confirmation, or vacation as provided by the applicable law concerning judicial review of arbitration awards. Anthropic will bear the costs that are particular to the arbitration, such as the arbitrator fees. The arbitrator will apply the substantive law of the state in which I sought employment with Anthropic. The arbitrator will determine the arbitration venue, based on fairness and convenience to the parties and witnesses, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon by the parties. The Party initiating a claim under this Agreement must make a written demand for arbitration to the other Party. The demand for arbitration shall identify the claims asserted, the facts upon which such claims are based, and any relief or remedy sought. Written demand for arbitration to Anthropic must be sent to Anthropic PBC at arbdemands@anthropic.com. Anthropic’s demand for arbitration shall be sent to the most recent mailing address and/or email address that Anthropic has on file for you.

This agreement to arbitrate does not apply to claims for workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation benefits, claims or charges before any administrative agency having jurisdiction over such claims, or any other claim that is not subject to arbitration under federal law. If any claims are deemed non-arbitrable, then those claims will be stayed until resolution of any arbitrable claims.

I understand and agree that, except where prohibited by federal law, all claims subject to this agreement to arbitrate must be pursued on an individual basis, and that both I and Anthropic waive any right to bring or be a party to any class or collective action. I agree that any issues pertaining to the enforceability, application or validity of this agreement to arbitrate shall be decided only by a court of competent jurisdiction and not by an arbitrator. This agreement to arbitrate applies only in the United States.
