Revenue Strategy & Operations

Singapore

About Anthropic

Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.

About the role

As the first hire for our Revenue Strategy & Operations team in Southeast Asia, you'll partner with sales leadership to plan and run our business across the region from Singapore, from the region's largest enterprises and business groups to its fastest‑growing technology companies.

You will be the trusted advisor to our regional sales leadership on how the business is planned and run, shaping how we invest across a set of very different markets while building the operational foundations to scale. Much of the work you will do yourself, hands‑on.

This role suits a structured thinker who is comfortable with ambiguity: you will often start from an open question, turn it into a clear recommendation, and get leaders who don't report to you aligned behind it.

You'll work closely with Strategy & Operations peers in Australia, Japan, Korea and India, with global Revenue Operations and Finance, and you'll use Claude every day to do the work of a much larger team.

You'll start as a senior individual contributor, with the opportunity to build and lead a small team as the region scales. You'll report to the head of Revenue Strategy & Operations for Asia‑Pacific (based in Sydney), work day to day alongside our sales leaders and team in Singapore, and travel regularly within the region.

Responsibilities

Go‑to‑Market Strategy

  • Lead annual and quarterly go‑to‑market planning for the region with sales leadership and Finance — set targets, territories and sales capacity, and own the trade‑offs behind them.
  • Set how we segment a multi‑country market and design territories, from large enterprises and business groups that operate across borders to fast‑growing technology companies.
  • Align leadership on market prioritization and coverage — where we invest first, how we cover the rest — and revisit the call as the business grows.
  • Shape how we go to market with partners and resellers — co‑selling, partner pipeline and joint planning — alongside our partnerships team.
  • Give sales leadership an independent read of the business — performance, pipeline and consumption across markets — with the risks, the opportunities and a recommended course of action, early enough to act on.

Rhythm of the Business & Regional Leadership

  • Own the operating rhythm of the region — weekly forecast and pipeline reviews, monthly and quarterly business reviews — and make it the place where decisions get made, not where reports get read.
  • Represent the region with Revenue Operations, Sales Enablement, Finance, Marketing and Partnerships; keep its plans aligned with Asia‑Pacific and the company, and bring back what works elsewhere.
  • Advise regional and Asia‑Pacific leadership through planning sessions, performance reviews and leadership updates — own the narrative, not just the numbers.
  • Influence without authority: bring structure to ambiguous problems, build the case, and drive decisions across teams you don't manage.

Operations & Global Programs

  • Own the region's commercial governance — account and territory decisions, planning inputs, data standards — working through our global Revenue Operations team, who own the CRM and sales systems.
  • Land global programs, processes and tools in the region, and be the region's voice back to headquarters when something needs to change.
  • Keep the commercial engine running smoothly across the multi‑country, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles typical of enterprise software in the region.

You may be a good fit if you have

Required qualifications

  • 8-12 years of experience in B2B SaaS, cloud or enterprise software, including several years leading sales strategy, revenue operations or commercial go‑to‑market work as the advisor to a sales leader — ideally across more than one Southeast Asian market
  • Structured thinking: a track record of taking ambiguous, open‑ended problems and turning them into options, a recommendation and a decision
  • Analytical depth: you can get from raw data to a recommendation yourself, and you know which three numbers a leader needs to see
  • You have owned annual planning, territory design, quota setting and business reviews for enterprise sales teams that cover several countries
  • Hands‑on with Salesforce and data — reports, dashboards and your own analysis; you use the systems yourself rather than administer them
  • Presence and judgement with senior sales leadership and C‑level stakeholders — including the confidence to give an unwelcome recommendation — and a record of getting decisions made across teams you don't manage
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and at pace; you can build the process while running it
  • A record of advising regional leadership on go‑to‑market strategy and getting the organization behind it
  • Based in Singapore, with fluent English

Strong candidates may also have

  • Management consulting experience (strategy or operations work), ideally combined with time in an operating role
  • A track record of scaling sales organizations through 3x+ growth periods in B2B software, including expansion into new markets
  • Experience building and leading a small team, or clear readiness to do so as the function scales
  • Go‑to‑market experience with partners, resellers or cloud marketplaces in the region
  • Experience in Chief of Staff or Business Operations roles supporting regional leadership
  • Professional proficiency in one or more languages of the region, in addition to English

Logistics

Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience

Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience

Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position

Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.

Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.

We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed.  Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different

We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.

The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Agreement to Arbitrate

I understand and agree that both Anthropic and I waive our respective rights to trial by jury in connection with any claims covered by this agreement to arbitrate. Instead, any disputes arising out of or related to my application for employment with Anthropic shall be settled by final and binding arbitration pursuant to the Federal Arbitration Act. I understand and agree that Anthropic’s employees/agents, Anthropic’s clients, and their employees/agents are third-party beneficiaries to this agreement.

The arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the Employment Arbitration Rules & Procedures of Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services, Inc. (“JAMS Rules”), available via the internet at https://www.jamsadr.com/rules-employment-arbitration or by searching for “JAMS Employment Arbitration Rules” in an online search service such as www.google.com. To the extent the JAMS Rules are inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement, this Agreement shall govern to the extent permitted by law. The parties will select one neutral arbitrator, who will have the authority to award all relief in law or equity that is requested by the parties and supported by credible, relevant, and admissible evidence. The arbitrator shall allow adequate discovery and issue a written, signed, and reasoned award. Judgement may be entered on the arbitrator’s award in any court having jurisdiction, and the award shall be subject to correction, confirmation, or vacation as provided by the applicable law concerning judicial review of arbitration awards. Anthropic will bear the costs that are particular to the arbitration, such as the arbitrator fees. The arbitrator will apply the substantive law of the state in which I sought employment with Anthropic. The arbitrator will determine the arbitration venue, based on fairness and convenience to the parties and witnesses, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon by the parties. The Party initiating a claim under this Agreement must make a written demand for arbitration to the other Party. The demand for arbitration shall identify the claims asserted, the facts upon which such claims are based, and any relief or remedy sought. Written demand for arbitration to Anthropic must be sent to Anthropic PBC at arbdemands@anthropic.com. Anthropic’s demand for arbitration shall be sent to the most recent mailing address and/or email address that Anthropic has on file for you.

This agreement to arbitrate does not apply to claims for workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation benefits, claims or charges before any administrative agency having jurisdiction over such claims, or any other claim that is not subject to arbitration under federal law. If any claims are deemed non-arbitrable, then those claims will be stayed until resolution of any arbitrable claims.

I understand and agree that, except where prohibited by federal law, all claims subject to this agreement to arbitrate must be pursued on an individual basis, and that both I and Anthropic waive any right to bring or be a party to any class or collective action. I agree that any issues pertaining to the enforceability, application or validity of this agreement to arbitrate shall be decided only by a court of competent jurisdiction and not by an arbitrator. This agreement to arbitrate applies only in the United States.
