About The Role
We are looking for an energetic, technically minded, and results-driven Account Executive to join our sales team and help grow AON3D’s customer base across Canada.
Based in Montréal, Québec, this role will own the full sales cycle from qualified opportunity through close across the Canadian market. You will work closely with prospects and customers to understand their manufacturing challenges, identify opportunities where AON3D can create value, and guide them through a consultative, technical sales process.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable selling complex hardware, software, and materials solutions to engineering, manufacturing, and executive stakeholders. You should be confident building relationships, managing a pipeline, navigating technical buying processes, and closing new business in a rapidly evolving market.
To be successful in this role, you must be fully bilingual in English and French, possess strong consultative selling skills, communicate technical value clearly, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Adapted from the original Account Executive description provided.
What You Will Do
- Own and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities across the Canadian market.
- Support the development of new qualified opportunities.
- Lead discovery calls to understand customer needs, applications, timelines, budgets, decision-making processes, and technical requirements.
- Develop strong relationships with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
- Clearly communicate the features, advantages, and benefits of AON3D’s products and solutions in both English and French.
- Work closely with Sales, Applications Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to support prospects throughout the buying process.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, business cases, and sales presentations.
- Negotiate commercial terms and guide opportunities through to close.
- Accurately maintain CRM data, including opportunity stage, next steps, forecast, deal value, timeline, and key stakeholders.
- Generate weekly, quarterly, and forecast reports related to pipeline, bookings, and sales activity.
- Meet or exceed revenue, pipeline, and activity targets set by the company.
- Participate in sales, product, training, and strategy meetings.
- Represent AON3D at trade shows, conferences, customer meetings, and industry events across Canada and, when required, internationally.
- Comply with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws, as well as company policies and procedures associated with best sales and business practices.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of professional selling experience, preferably in a technical, industrial, manufacturing, hardware, software, or additive manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing a sales pipeline and closing new business.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover customer needs and translate them into compelling business value.
- Full professional fluency in both English and French, written and spoken, is required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to discuss the features, advantages, and benefits of AON3D’s products and compare their performance with competitive products.
- Comfortable selling into complex organizations with multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities, deadlines, and priorities at once.
- Must work well in a rapidly changing environment and be committed to meeting deadlines, forecasts, and quotas.
- Advanced knowledge of sales tools, including CRM, ERP, Microsoft Office suite, and related sales productivity tools.
- Ability to travel across Canada and abroad to customer sites, trade shows, conferences, and industry events as needed.
