Position Overview

We are seeking a Short-Term Program Employee to serve as an Events Coordinator, providing support across multiple communities in the Denver area. This role helps maintain program consistency, resident engagement, and overall program quality while a long-term coordinator is identified.

This position supports multiple programs at the same time and requires strong organization, flexibility, and the ability to manage changing schedules and priorities. The ideal candidate is dependable, relational, and comfortable coordinating events across a variety of community settings.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Event Coordination

  • Oversee approximately 6–8 programs across multiple locations
  • Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, communication, and on-site support
  • Ensure programs are organized, engaging, and aligned with organizational standards
  • Track participation, provide basic reporting, and communicate updates to internal teams
  • Proactively address challenges and adapt as needed to ensure smooth program execution

Community Engagement

  • Build positive relationships with residents, volunteers, and community partners
  • Foster a welcoming and engaging environment within each community
  • Support resident participation and encourage consistent community involvement

Scheduling & Capacity Expectations

  • Up to 19 hours per week maximum
  • Schedule will vary based on program needs and may include evenings and weekends
  • Hours should be used efficiently to support assigned programs
  • Manage approximately 6–8 programs, depending on program complexity and travel requirements

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently across multiple locations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
  • Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented
  • Experience coordinating events, programs, or community engagement activities preferred
  • Previous Apartment Life Coordinator experience is a plus, but not required
