Sales Development Representative

Apera AI helps manufacturers make their factories more flexible and productive. Apera is led by an experienced team from high-growth companies focused on robotics, artificial intelligence, and advanced manufacturing.

We’re looking for an experienced SDR who has a proven track record of growing business with the world’s largest manufacturers. The successful candidate will grow and manage the pipeline, engage with pre-qualified prospects and design strategies for customer acquisition and account expansion. You’ll work directly with our sales and marketing leadership.

Your role will include:

  • Deliver new sales opportunities (leads, sales qualified leads and funnel growth).
  • Open new leads using sales enablement tools, with outreach through email, phone and social media.
  • Pre-qualify sales prospects and schedule sales presentations for our experienced sales team.
  • Develop targeted account lists and strategies with the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Implement prospecting systems to improve sales outreach programs.
  • Maintain records of activities and progress in the company’s CRM database.
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of vision applications for industrial automation.
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the automation industry—how end-users, integrators, and distributors work with Apera AI to improve manufacturing productivity.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in industrial automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience working independently and proven ability to build scalable prospecting systems that generate results.
  • Proven track record of connecting with customers over multiple channels—e-mail, phone and online.
  • Experienced user of sales enablement and CRM tools such as Outreach and Hubspot.
