Revenue Operations Manager
Role Overview
As a strategic member of Apera AI’s commercial team, the Revenue Operations Manager will drive operational excellence across sales, marketing, and customer success, propelling Apera’s enterprise growth in automotive and industrial manufacturing sectors. With a focus on optimizing HubSpot configuration, refining performance tracking, and driving cross-functional alignment, this role will orchestrate our “land and expand” strategy to maximize customer value. The Revenue Operations Manager will proactively implement AI-enabled tools and dashboards to enhance revenue predictability, sales efficiency, and customer engagement. They will work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success leaders to ensure seamless scaling of operations, data accuracy, and stakeholder communication.

About The Role:

Develop and Implement a Revenue Performance Tracking System:
Within the first 60 days, design, build, and deploy a robust revenue operations system using HubSpot and supporting tools. This system must track CARR, sales pipeline stages, and KPIs across sales, marketing, and customer success, ensuring clean data and actionable insights. AI-enhanced analytics will provide weekly dashboards and variance reports against budget, enabling timely course corrections and strategic adjustments.

Optimize Sales Pipeline Management and Forecasting:
Within the first 90 days, define and enforce sales pipeline stage criteria, automate pipeline tracking, and deliver accurate weighted and unweighted forecasts. Collaborate with sales to ensure disciplined pipeline hygiene, leveraging HubSpot automation and AI-driven insights to minimize cycle times and improve conversion rates.

Drive Cross-functional Communication and Operational Readiness:
Within the first 120 days, establish a proactive communication protocol between Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to align order processing, inventory management, and installation timelines. Integrate AI-enabled project tracking to monitor customer orders from PO to delivery, ensuring timely installations and customer satisfaction.

Within the first 30 days, perform a comprehensive audit of Apera’s revenue processes, identifying bottlenecks, data gaps, and process inefficiencies. Deliver a report with prioritized recommendations, including automation opportunities and immediate corrective actions.

Execute a 30-60-90 Day Action Plan:
Quickly implement a phased action plan that addresses process gaps, enhances reporting, and ensures operational readiness. Deliver measurable improvements in data quality, sales reporting cadence, and stakeholder engagement by the end of the first 90 days.

Enhance Cross-functional Collaboration:
Establish regular working sessions with sales, marketing, customer success, operations, and finance to align revenue goals, share insights, and resolve execution roadblocks. Develop collaborative processes and shared dashboards to ensure consistent data integrity and forecasting accuracy.

Lead Strategic Project Management Initiatives:
Within the first six months, manage a key revenue-related project, such as a comprehensive CRM upgrade, implementation of a new marketing automation module, or deployment of AI-driven forecasting tools. Ensure timely delivery, measurable improvements in performance, and stakeholder buy-in.

Launch a Long-term Strategic Revenue Optimization Initiative:
Within the first year, spearhead a multi-year program to enhance profitability and revenue predictability through advanced analytics, AI-driven performance management, and process reengineering. Deliver initial success metrics and stakeholder alignment for long-term growth.

Manage Critical Customer Feedback and Post-implementation Reviews:
Develop a formalized process to gather and analyze customer feedback post-installation, conducting monthly retrospectives on installations that went well and those needing improvement. Incorporate AI-powered sentiment analysis tools to capture insights and drive actionable improvements.

Continuously Evaluate and Integrate AI to Improve Performance:
Within the first 90–180 days, take ownership of identifying how AI and automation tools can support or enhance revenue operations. Evaluate tasks that can be streamlined, redesigned, or improved through available technologies. Lead pilots, collaborate cross-functionally, and develop an ongoing strategy for continuous AI adoption and measurable impact.

About You
- Proven 3 - 5 years of experience in a Revenue Operations role or in a Financial Analyst role
- Proven expert level expertise using HubSpot including creating custom reports (expertise in comparable CRM’s might be considered)
- Proven ability to develop relationships/communicate with sales, operational and finance teams.
- Proven ability to communicate, own and enforce reporting discipline with sales teams
- Experience developing and publishing KPI dashboards company wide
- Proven ability to prepare Board level presentations
- Ability to work 100% from the office as required.
- Proven Experience working in a fast paced start up with multiple priorities.
At Apera AI, we believe that transparency and fairness are key to building a thriving team. For this Revenue Operations Manager role, we offer a competitive salary range of $110,000–$120,000 CAD per year.
This range reflects the base salary for a highly qualified candidate. The final offer will depend on a range of factors including your unique skills, experience, contributions to team diversity, and the value you bring to our vision of transforming industrial automation with AI-powered vision systems.
