
Training Lead

Apera AI is transforming industrial automation with AI-powered vision systems. We’re hiring a Training Lead to build and lead our training team, ensuring customers, integrators, and partners succeed with our flagship products, Apera Vue and Apera Forge.
This is a highly customer-facing leadership role where credibility is everything. You’ll guide two trainers, set the training strategy, and stand in front of operators, engineers, and executives explaining robotics, vision systems, and AI with clarity and authority. Your impact will be measured by adoption, ROI, and how quickly our technology becomes indispensable on the shop floor.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor a training team delivering Vue and Forge education programs
- Design and oversee programs that help integrators troubleshoot, operators adopt, and executives understand ROI
- Develop curriculum for diverse audiences, balancing technical accuracy with accessibility
- Measure training effectiveness using the Kirkpatrick or similar model, tying results directly to adoption and customer success
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Customer Success to embed training into the customer lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership of training or enablement teams with measurable adoption/ROI impact
- Deep knowledge of industrial automation, robotics, and/or vision systems
- You can explain cycle time optimization, integrator roles, 2D vs. 3D vision, lighting challenges, and AI/ML applications without jargon
- 6+ years’ experience in training within industrial automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing environments (must-have, not nice-to-have)
- Strong instructional design and curriculum development skills, with a record of tailoring programs to operators, integrators, and executives
- Executive presence and credibility when engaging directly with manufacturing clients
- Passion for coaching teams and translating complex technology into adoption
