Job Description
The Systems Analyst's primary responsibilities are to review, research, and remediate internal vulnerability assessment tickets and antivirus endpoint management. This position is vital for enhancing network and systems security within the organization. Secondary duties of the Systems Analyst include standard systems administration tasks including managing infrastructure and day-to-day operations within the IT department.
Responsibilities
- Review and research vulnerability tickets created by InfoSec team, determine resolutions, and work with managers to schedule outage windows, including occasional evening coordination due to US time zone differences.
- Deploy and manage protection technologies including Symantec Endpoint Protection & Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Azure Entra ID administration and management.
- Maintain hardware and software systems including on-prem and remote servers and workstations.
- Administer monthly systems patching and firmware updates on Windows and Linux physical servers and virtual machines.
- Monthly weekend maintenance
Requirements
- Minimum of 03 years hands-on experience in IT including Windows Server, networking, and centralized Antivirus management.
- Experience with firmware, driver, and system patch updating using management software such as Microsoft WSUS, Manage Engine, etc.
- Some practical Linux experience.
- Strong English proficiency (B2 or higher, fluent in technical and business communication, comfortable with US stakeholders).
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow, Jira) is preferred.
- Beneficial experience:
- Intermediate networking, Windows Hyper-V and clustering, .NET and IIS basics, Newrelic
Education or Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
