Job Title: Full‑Stack (FS) Developer — Frontend + Cloud
Position Summary:
Experienced full‑stack developer skilled in modern frontend frameworks and cloud architectures. Responsible for designing, building, testing, and safely deploying customer‑facing and backend services using Next.js/React, Node, GraphQL, and AWS. Works from minimal specs in a fast‑paced environment, collaborates closely in code review, and leverages AI tools where appropriate to increase velocity and quality.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement user‑facing features and backend services using Next.js, React, Node, and GraphQL.
- Build scalable, secure systems on AWS (both serverless and non‑serverless patterns).
- Model and implement data storage solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code; author unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests.
- Ship changes safely to production via CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Participate actively in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions; mentor peers.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement durable fixes.
- Use AI-assisted development tools judiciously to accelerate work while ensuring correctness and security.
- Operate with an ownership mentality: estimate work, meet commitments, and communicate progress and risks.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years building production applications with Next.js, React, and Node (or comparable frameworks).
- Practical experience with GraphQL (server and client integration).
- Hands‑on experience deploying and operating services on AWS (serverless and traditional compute).
- Strong SQL and NoSQL data modeling and query experience.
- Demonstrated CI/CD experience (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
- Proven track record of shipping high‑quality, well‑tested code into production.
- Comfortable working from minimal specs and iterating quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluent English and strong collaboration, communication, and code‑review practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with observability tooling (CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, OpenTelemetry).
- Familiarity with security best practices (authentication/authorization, secret management, OWASP).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, EKS).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK).
- Prior experience leveraging AI-assisted coding tools responsibly in production workflows.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- High code quality discipline: testing, linting, type safety (TypeScript preferred).
- Strong debugging and performance‑tuning skills.
- Pragmatic problem solving and ability to prioritize under ambiguity.
