Your Role
As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for enhancing user satisfaction by improving the usability of digital products. The role involves conducting user research and testing, creating wireframes, designing prototypes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly solutions for Aperia’s connected tire management platform.
Your Responsibilities
- Work closely with product managers, software engineers, business development, and sales to ensure user-centric solutions align with business goals.
- Regularly conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure that all digital solutions meet accessibility and usability standards.
- Conduct user research through interviews and surveys to understand user behavior, needs, and pain points.
- Regularly analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities, ensuring the continuous improvement of Aperia’s web and mobile user experience.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and other tools, and act as the voice of the user in team discussions to guide design and product development decisions.
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure the feasibility of designs and provide design specifications for implementation.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, and user flows to conceptualize user interfaces.
- Design visually appealing and functional UI elements aligned with the product’s branding and style guidelines.
- Regularly document and share research findings, design specifications, and processes with the wider organization.
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-computer Interaction, computer science, or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience as a UX designer or similar role.
- A strong advocate for user needs through empathy.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
- Experience designing for responsive web and mobile applications.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong understanding of wireframing, prototyping, and visual design techniques.
- Familiarity with user research methods, usability testing tools, and analytics.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Front-end development is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Pay Range: $100,000- $130,000
*Base salary only. Salary dependent on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience and location.
