Your Responsibilities as a Scientist:
- Conduct fieldwork to collect and manage soil, water, air, and other environmental samples, adhering to established protocols for data accuracy.
- Maintain field equipment and prepare detailed field notes and photo logs.
- Monitor environmental conditions at various sites and conduct evaluations of groundwater data, including trend analyses and comparisons.
- Support subsurface investigations, oversee drilling subcontractors
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and report any concerns to supervisors.
- Exhibit a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and flexibility for travel, including overnight stays and extended field days.

What we're looking for:
- 0-2 years of experience that includes conducting environmental sampling, subsurface investigations, tabulating and presenting data, and using GIS for digital map representations.
- BS in Environmental Science, Geology or closely aligned field including completion of a field course of study
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience or willingness to learn groundwater sampling using various methods including low-flow sampling.
- Experience or willingness to learn stratigraphic logging using various drilling methods potentially including hollow-stem auger, direct-push, air rotary, and rock coring.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and ability to learn a variety of technical software packages.
- Ability to participate in occasional emergency response efforts related to petroleum or other releases.
