Your Next Role: Senior Hydrogeologist Project Manager
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Senior Hydrogeologist Project Manager to join our team in Quincy, MA. In this role, you'll manage, support, and deliver a variety of water resource projects across New England, including:
- Baseline Hydrologic and Water Resource Studies
- Groundwater Studies and Water Supply Projects
- Permitting and Operational Support
- Contaminant Investigations
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project teams in hydrogeologic analyses for water supply, effluent recharge and mounding analysis for wastewater, and environmental projects.
- Manage staff and oversee data collection activities.
- Conduct and analyze aquifer tests and predictive surface and groundwater modeling.
- Groundwater modeling and experience with flow models.
- Preferred experience with contaminant transport modeling.
- Prepare detailed reports, data visualizations, and hydrogeological studies.
- Coordinate regulatory compliance, manage permitting with state and federal agencies, and prepare regulatory permit applications.
- Participate in business development opportunities.
- Mentor and coach less experienced staff, fostering their growth.
What You'll Bring
- Education: B.S. degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology, or related fields. A Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in hydrogeologic analyses for water supply, wastewater disposal, and environmental projects.
- Skills: Project management, public presentation, and regulatory coordination.
- Certification: Must be a licensed Professional Geologist in Massachusetts or obtain MA licensure within one year of your start date.
