Your Responsibilities as a Sr Program Manager:
- Act as the office lead for our growing Roanoke office.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of environmental projects.
- Write and review technical reports, specifications and proposals.
- Develop and manage scope, schedule and budget to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate internal resources to assemble team to and execute project plans.
- Prepare and deliver marketing presentations.
- Hire and manage subcontractors when necessary.
- Manage, mentor and train scientific staff and ensure quality work product.
- Ensure safe performance of project work.
- Maintain ongoing positive relationships with current clients.
- Actively develop your own career growth.
- Actively source for new business opportunities.

What we're looking for:
- BA/BS in Environmental Science or related field.
- 10+ years of solid technical experience
- Project management experience including scope, schedule, and budget control.
- Professional license is a plus.
- Ability to manage and train staff.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite.
- Experience maintaining client relationships.
- Interest or experience marketing new clients.
- Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
- Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.
- Experience with Deltek VantagePoint or similar is a plus.
