Position Overview

Apex Skin is a rapidly growing skincare facility that empowers employees to deliver exceptional patient experiences. We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead and execute traditional and digital marketing initiatives while serving as the central coordinator for internal and external marketing requests. This role focuses on brand visibility through public relations, print marketing, communications, digital marketing, and marketing operations. 

In addition, this role provides leadership oversight for the Community Engagement & Business Development Coordinator, ensuring alignment between marketing initiatives, community outreach, and business development activities. 

The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and experienced in managing multiple stakeholders, projects, and timelines. 

Location: Hybrid role based in Ohio. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of Beachwood, OH to be considered.

Schedule: Full time, Business hours M-F (Subject to change, some marketing efforts take place before/after normal business hours, and occasionally on weekends)

Essential Functions: 

  • Lead the development and hands-on execution of integrated marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, strengthen reputation, and support organizational growth.
  • Manage day-to-day brand stewardship, ensuring consistent messaging, visual identity, and positioning across all marketing channels and communications.
  • Oversee and contribute to public relations and external communications efforts including media outreach, press releases, brand announcements, and reputation management.
  • Partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to translate business priorities into actionable marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Manage the intake, prioritization, and execution of marketing projects while coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
  • Plan, develop, and produce marketing materials and promotional assets including print collateral, direct mail campaigns, signage, and event marketing materials.
  • Support regional office growth by coordinating localized marketing initiatives, advertising opportunities, provider onboarding support, and community-facing promotions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry organizations, vendors, and community partners to increase brand visibility and partnership opportunities.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance by establishing KPIs, maintaining reporting dashboards, and evaluating campaign effectiveness to inform ongoing improvements.
  • Identify and implement improvements to marketing workflows, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and support a growing marketing function.
  • Manage external vendors and agency partners including designers, printers, PR partners, and marketing suppliers to ensure brand alignment, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Supervise and support the Community Engagement & Business Development Coordinator, providing guidance on outreach initiatives, partnerships, and engagement activities.
  • Foster collaboration across marketing, community engagement, and business development functions to ensure alignment and effective execution of initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison between leadership and outreach teams, ensuring marketing activities and community partnerships align with broader organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience 
  • 3+ years in team management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and marketing requests simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with vendors such as printers, agencies, or PR partners.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience managing PR campaigns or media outreach.
  • Background in brand management or corporate communications.
  • Familiarity with marketing project management systems or workflow tools.
  • Experience supporting marketing for events, partnerships, or community initiatives.

  • Work performed in a remote home office environment with reliable internet connectivity.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use for data entry, projects, and electronic communication.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and navigating multiple software systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly via phone, email, and virtual platforms with vendors and team members.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to read online content, marketing materials, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Requires consistent attention to detail and ability to maintain focus in a virtual setting.
  • Must adhere to HIPAA and Apex Skin privacy standards while working remotely.
