What the role is about?

Improve the efficiency, consistency, and visibility of the product development process. Provide operational leverage to PMs and tech leads so they can focus on strategy, discovery, and execution. Act as the connective tissue across product, engineering, and GTM teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process & Execution

• Own and continuously refine the product development workflow (intake → triage → planning → delivery).
• Maintain Jira hygiene: deduplication, backlog grooming support, enforcing standards, monitoring stale tickets.
• Ensure cross-team alignment on priorities, dependencies, and handoffs.
• Run or support ceremonies (planning, retros, triage) where needed.

1. Roadmap & Portfolio Coordination

• Maintain a single source of truth for the roadmap.
• Track progress, risks, unblockers, and cross-team dependencies.
• Prepare roadmap updates for leadership and GTM.
• Spot duplicates across PMs/teams (features, requests, bugs) and surface them early.

1. KPI & Data Stewardship

• Own product metrics instrumentation and definitions (in partnership with PMs).
• Build and maintain dashboards for adoption, usage, quality, SLAs, and delivery performance.
• Manage the feedback loop between GTM (CS, Sales) and Product.

1. Operational Support for TLs and PMs

• Offload 5–10% of operational overhead from each PM and TL:
• Documentation (release notes, requirement templates).
• Cross-team coordination.
• RI/RO management (requests, incidents, operational tasks).
• Follow-ups and ensuring commitments are tracked.

1. Governance & Quality

• Ensure consistent product definitions, spec templates, acceptance criteria, and workflow conventions.
• Maintain the taxonomy of product areas, components, and ownership.
• Push for standardization where helpful.

What You’re About

1. 4+ years experience in a relevant position
2. Strong organizer who can work across engineering and product.
3. Analytical and comfortable with data, dashboards, metrics, AI tools.
4. Understands software delivery but doesn’t need to be deeply technical.
5. Excellent communicator and “herder of cats.”
6. Comfortable being a force multiplier rather than the front-of-stage decision maker.
