Role Overview:

As an Executive Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future leadership of Apollo by sourcing and hiring executives for both technical (e.g., Engineering, Product, Design, etc.) and business (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Customer Success,  Finance, People, Legal, etc.) functions. You will work closely with senior leadership and hiring managers to ensure we bring in the right talent to drive our continued success. The right candidate has a strong network in the SaaS space, exceptional recruitment expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-Cycle Executive Recruiting: Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for senior-level technical and business roles, including sourcing, interviewing, candidate management, and offer negotiations.
  • SaaS Industry Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of the SaaS industry and its unique talent landscape to identify and engage with top executive candidates for high-impact leadership positions.
  • Sourcing & Networking: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of diverse, high-quality executive candidates through proactive sourcing methods, including headhunting, networking, and leveraging industry-specific platforms.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Partner closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to deeply understand the company’s strategic goals, hiring needs, and the ideal executive profile for each role.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a best-in-class candidate experience by providing clear communication, thoughtful engagement, and a seamless recruitment process from start to finish.
  • Market Research & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct research on the competitive talent landscape, industry trends, and salary benchmarking to inform recruitment strategies and candidate expectations.
  • Interview Process Management: Coordinate and facilitate interview panels, ensuring alignment on candidate evaluation criteria, and guiding hiring teams through the selection process.
  • Offer Negotiation & Closing: Manage the offer process, including salary negotiations, benefits, and any additional candidate considerations. Ensure competitive and compelling offers that align with the company’s compensation philosophy.
  • Talent Acquisition Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of long-term executive talent acquisition strategies that align with the company’s growth goals.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in executive recruiting, with dedicated experience in both technical (engineering, product, design)  and business leadership roles  (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success,  Finance, People, Legal, etc) in the SaaS industry.
  • Proven success in sourcing and hiring senior-level executives in fast-growing SaaS or tech companies.
  • Proven record in also management executive recruitment agencies relationships if we decide to go external with a search.
  • Strong understanding of the unique challenges and nuances of recruiting within the SaaS industry, including technical talent and go-to-market leadership roles.
  • Extensive network of SaaS executives, including engineers, product , design leaders and GTM  executives.
  • Exceptional sourcing and headhunting skills, with experience using various tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, and industry-specific forums.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders and hiring managers.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex offer processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple executive searches simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality candidates within tight timelines and with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in-house at a high-growth SaaS company or a leading executive search firm focused on the tech industry.
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse and GEM to manage candidate pipelines and recruitment metrics.
  • Experience managing relationships with Venture Capitalist internal Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Demonstrated success in building executive-level recruitment strategies for SaaS companies, especially in scaling environments.
