GTM Technical Enablement Lead

Remote, United States

Apollo.io is the leading go-to-market solution for revenue teams, trusted by over 500,000 companies and millions of users globally, from rapidly growing startups to some of the world's largest enterprises. Founded in 2015, the company is one of the fastest growing companies in SaaS, raising approximately $250 million to date and valued at $1.6 billion. Apollo.io provides sales and marketing teams with easy access to verified contact data for over 210 million B2B contacts and 35 million companies worldwide, along with tools to engage and convert these contacts in one unified platform. By helping revenue professionals find the most accurate contact information and automating the outreach process, Apollo.io turns prospects into customers. Apollo raised a series D in 2023 and is backed by top-tier investors, including Sequoia Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, and more, and counts the former President and COO of Hubspot, JD Sherman, among its board members.

Apollo is redefining how sales teams operate by fusing data, automation, and AI into one platform. Now we’re building a new layer of enablement: one that turns sellers into technical, consultative GTM Engineers who drive revenue by GTM workflow design.

As the GTM Engineer, Technical Enablement Manager, you’ll architect the frameworks, playbooks, and training that help our sales team:

  • Master GTM tech stack fluency and translate it into Apollo consolidation opportunities
  • Diagnose inefficiencies and map structured solutions that drive credit consumption and deal velocity
  • Adopt GTM Engineering muscles: signal-based ICP logic, AI prompt design, and campaign architecture translation
  • Partner with GTM Engineers and Solutions Consultants to turn discovery into revenue outcomes

This isn’t traditional enablement. It’s about creating a new breed of sales enablement where sellers engineer revenue systems, not just deliver pitches.

What You’ll Do

  • Codify GTME Workflows: Translate GTM Engineer builds, telemetry, and discoveries into repeatable sales-ready modules that teach reps how their motions drive credit sales and consumption.
  • Design Signal Frameworks: Equip sellers to cut, stack, and apply GTM signals (Power-ups, hiring intent, tech adjacencies) to sharpen ICP fit and improve conversion.
  • AI Prompt Training: Teach reps how to design prompts that boost personalization quality, accelerate campaigns, and optimize credit efficiency.
  • Campaign Architecture: Move sellers beyond “run a sequence” into designing multi-channel workflows (email, phone, enrichment, AI messaging) tied to measurable credit consumption.
  • Revenue-Linked Enablement: Build playbooks, discovery guides, and workshops that directly link enablement activity to credit velocity, pipeline creation, and conversion outcomes.
  • Experiment & Validate: Run controlled tests with sellers, measure impact on credit usage and deal flow, and iterate to scale proven approaches.

What We’re Looking For

  • Deep GTM Technical Fluency: 8+ years in SaaS with direct experience designing and operationalizing GTM stacks end-to-end (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, Clearbit, Zapier, Clay). You don’t need to code, but you must be fluent enough to architect workflows that replicate at scale across sales teams.
  • Revenue Systems Orientation: Demonstrated ability to link enablement to commercial outcomes — pipeline lift, credit sales/consumption, conversion rates — not just training completion. You think in terms of revenue mechanics, not just learning modules.
  • AI & Outbound Architect: Proven experience building AI-native workflows (prompt design, automated enrichment, AI-driven personalization) and translating outbound campaign architecture into scalable, credit-efficient motions.
  • Content-to-Systems Builder: Exceptional ability to codify complex GTM workflows into crisp playbooks, frameworks, and hands-on training programs that sellers adopt and apply in live deals.
  • Hybrid Enablement/Pre-Sales Background: Prior success in sales enablement, solution consulting, or technical pre-sales. Bonus: quota-carrying experience or RevOps leadership — you’ve lived the seller’s world and engineered their systems.
  • Strategic Experimenter: Bias for controlled testing, telemetry-driven validation, and scaling proven approaches in fast-moving GTM environments.
  • Influence & Leadership: Comfortable operating cross-functionally and at the executive level, with a track record of aligning technical, product, and GTM teams around a shared revenue system design.

How Success Will Be Measured

  • Sellers fluently map GTM stacks, identify Apollo consolidation opportunities, and link them to credit growth.
  • Reps consistently use signal-based ICP logic, AI prompt design, and campaign architecture in live deals.
  • Enablement drives measurable lift in credit sales, credit consumption velocity, and pipeline conversion.
  • Hand-offs between reps, GTM Engineers, and Solutions Consultants become smoother, faster, and revenue-linked.

Why This Role Matters

At Apollo, credits are the atomic unit of value. The right hire here won’t just run training—they’ll engineer revenue systems that scale. You’ll shape how sellers adopt GTM Engineering principles and hold them accountable to applying those principles in ways that increase credit consumption and deal credibility.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
