In-House Broking Manager
Your Role
At Apollo, we're looking for an In-House Broking Manager to lead our In-House Service Team (IST) and help shape how underwriting operations are delivered across the Lloyd's and London Market.
This is a leadership role responsible for ensuring underwriting transactions are processed accurately and efficiently from underwriting decision through to premium settlement, financial reconciliation and market reporting. You'll work closely with Underwriting, Finance and Market Services teams, helping to ensure business flows seamlessly through Lloyd's market infrastructure while maintaining strong operational controls and service standards.
You'll also play a key role in defining the future operating model for underwriting services at Apollo, partnering with underwriters on new trading initiatives, advising on placement and servicing approaches, and driving continuous improvement across underwriting operations.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading and developing the In-House Service Team.
Acting as a trusted operational adviser to underwriting teams on Lloyd's and London Market processing.
Defining and governing the IST service model and service catalogue.
Supporting the operational readiness of new products, facilities, delegated authority arrangements and trading initiatives.
Overseeing market processing activities and ensuring transactions are completed accurately and within required timescales.
Working closely with Underwriting, Finance, Claims and Outwards Reinsurance teams to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
Driving process improvement, increasing straight-through processing and reducing operational inefficiencies.
Ensuring business is compliant with Lloyd's market standards and capable of processing without exception.
What We Are Looking For
Significant experience within Lloyd's or London Market operations.
Strong hands-on expertise in London Premium Advice Note (LPAN) processing.
Strong hands-on expertise in Electronic Claims File Version 2 (ECF2) claims processing and management.
Experience managing premium processing, settlement activity and market exceptions.
Experience leading operational teams and driving process improvement.
Ability to build strong partnerships across underwriting, claims and finance functions.
Head of Apollo Group Reporting
Your Role
We're looking for a Head of Apollo Group Reporting to lead the day-to-day delivery of our Apollo Group Reporting function.
This is a high-impact operational leadership role at the centre of Apollo's financial reporting and controls environment. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining team leadership with direct involvement in group reporting activities. You'll lead a team with responsibility for close governance, group consolidation, statutory reporting, US reporting deliverables, SOX processes and audit coordination, ensuring reporting outputs are accurate, timely, well-controlled and capable of supporting informed business decisions.
You'll partner closely with colleagues across FP&A, Tax, Finance Operations, US Finance and external auditors, acting as a trusted technical expert and helping ensure Apollo continues to strengthen reporting quality, governance and control.What you’ll do
Lead the day-to-day operation of the Apollo Group Reporting function.
Own the close and reporting governance cycle including timetables, dependencies, prioritisation, escalation and delivery across Finance functions.
Oversee statutory reporting for non-syndicate entities and support the production of Board-ready reporting outputs.
Lead group consolidations across UK GAAP and US GAAP reporting frameworks.
Lead US reporting deliverables and support reporting requirements across the wider Apollo Group, including activities supporting SEC reporting obligations and Group consolidation requirements.
Act as the day-to-day SOX process lead for relevant reporting processes and controls, ensuring evidence quality, documentation and timely remediation.
Manage relationships with internal and external auditors, ensuring high-quality evidence and timely resolution of reporting matters.
Lead technical accounting analysis and documentation for significant accounting matters.
Review and challenge key reporting outputs, reconciliations, accounting papers and control evidence.
Collaborate with FP&A to ensure reporting outputs support meaningful performance analysis and insight.
Drive continuous improvement across reporting, controls, reconciliations and financial processes.
Develop, coach and lead a high-performing reporting team.
Escalate significant risks, judgements and delivery issues appropriately.
What we are looking for
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
Significant hands-on experience leading and delivering group reporting, statutory reporting and financial close activities.
Strong group consolidation experience across complex, multi-entity environments, with practical knowledge of UK GAAP and US GAAP reporting requirements.
Experience supporting US reporting requirements, including SEC reporting deliverables and reporting within complex international group structures.
Experience operating within a SOX or Internal Controls over Financial Reporting environment.
Strong technical accounting capability, including preparation of robust accounting papers and technical conclusions.
Experience managing internal and external audit processes.
Proven experience leading and developing finance professionals.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at senior level.
A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on quality, efficiency and control.

Senior Risk Analyst
Your Role
This is a key role within Apollo's risk function, helping to ensure risks are identified, assessed, monitored and managed effectively across the business and our managed syndicates. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across underwriting, finance, operations and executive leadership, providing insight, challenge and practical support to strengthen risk management and governance.
The role offers the opportunity to shape and enhance enterprise risk practices, lead meaningful risk initiatives, influence strategic decision-making and contribute to a business focused on enabling a resilient and sustainable world.
What you’ll do
Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Apollo's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Own risk and control assessments, risk registers and governance activity across Apollo and its managed syndicates.
Design and deliver risk reporting, insights and recommendations for Boards, Committees and senior stakeholders.
Support the design and assessment stress testing, scenario analysis and/or capital model validation activities.
Partner with underwriting, finance and operational teams to identify emerging risks, challenge assumptions and strengthen risk management practices.
Conduct thematic reviews and deep-dives into key risk areas, translating analysis into practical actions and mitigations.
Support regulatory compliance and ensure risk management activities remain aligned to evolving requirements.
Drive a strong risk culture through stakeholder engagement, coaching and influencing.
What we are looking for
Significant Enterprise Risk Management experience within insurance, financial services or another regulated environment.
Deep understanding of risk management frameworks, risk assessment methodologies and governance processes.
Experience designing, delivering or challenging stress testing, scenario testing or capital model validation.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful insight.
Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proficiency with reporting and data tools such as Excel, Power BI or similar.
Ability to identify risks, assess impacts and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Lloyd's market experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
Experience with GRC platforms such as Decision Focus, Magique or similar would be advantageous.
Professional qualifications such as IRM or CII are welcomed but not required.
