About the role

We are looking for an experienced Presentations Designer to join our creative team. As a Senior Presentations Designer, you will support in translating complex scientific communications into engaging stories using illustration and animation. Your focus will be presentation design, using Microsoft PowerPoint, where you will take information often written by our medical writers and turn this into visual and engaging presentations. You will be involved in multiple projects at any given time, working closing with the wider creative team, account teams and clients.

You will report into the Presentations Director and assist with the running of the team, including resourcing, budgeting, outsourcing projects to freelancers and mentoring team members.

This is a fully remote role.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Develop stunning slide decks that are both creative and scientifically accurate
  • Work in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft PowerPoint to bring presentations to life, using creativity, illustration, animation and interactivity
  • Work on a range on presentations, both static and animated
  • Format slide decks, creating templates, infographic/ illustrative slide decks, storyboards (in Adobe Illustrator), interactive and animated decks
  • Work with account teams and clients to interpret their needs and support in developing the creative brief
  • Build excellent relationships with our account teams to ensure that we develop a one team approach
  • Lead multiple projects to ensure they are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget
  • Follow our processes to ensure we are as efficient as possible
  • Branding champion, ensure that all our work follows branding guidelines
  • Support the Presentations Director with resourcing, quoting and budgeting
  • Line management of a Presentation Designer, overseeing their creative output and career growth
  • Support with companywide PowerPoint training
  • Manage freelancers

About you:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in presentation design. Including advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, such as interactivity and high level animation
  • Have in-depth knowledge of the Adobe Suite
  • An eye for good creative that tells engaging stories. Ability to identify where creative can help clients
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, big and small, and take ownership to ensure they are all delivered on time, on brief and on budget
  • Strong communication skills; ability to take an effective brief and understand requirements.
  • Medical Communications; experience in the MedComms or Healthcare industry would be preferred, however is not essential
  • Motion design; Adobe AfterEffects and Premiere Pro skills advantageous but not essential

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. We consider compensation more than just a base salary – that’s why we also offer an exceptional range of flexible benefits, personal support and tailored learning and development opportunities all designed to help you realize your full potential both in life and at work.

Compensation

$80,000 - $85,000 USD
