About You

We are rapidly expanding and looking to hire talented and ambitious quality engineering talent in Buenos Aires. As a member of the team, you will participate in automating the validation processes of a micro-service oriented eCommerce B2B platform. We love entrepreneurial spirit and those who bring experience from established organizations. You are a highly technical, hands-on software developer in test (SDET) with a passion for producing maintainable and robust code. You will design and maintain different kinds of automation test frameworks that will validate our critical services. Our Agile teams, consisting of developers, fellow Quality Engineers, designers, managers and stakeholders, are distributed among several countries so clear communication is a must. 

What you'll do and how you'll have an impact

• Represent the interests of users and customers through the relentless pursuit of a quality product
• Document issues and bugs, moving each bug relentlessly through its entire life cycle
• Design and maintain automation test frameworks
• Design and create functional E2E tests
• Design and create performance tests for both backend micro-services and UI's
• Design and create API and E2E tests to be executed during Continuous Development (CD) phase
• Configure and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) test pipelines
• Automate mundane tasks and processes to promote QE team efficiency and improve developer experience running their automated tests
• Collaborate with developers, fellow Quality Engineers, product managers, partners and consultants to deliver highest quality with each release
• Consistently raise the bar of what exceptional quality looks like by researching and promoting improved Quality practices for the team

What we're looking for

• 2-4 years of experience with automation testing
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Strong Functional and Object Oriented programming (OOP) fundamentals
• Knowledge in functional and non-functional testing
• Proficiency in Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript for E2E testing
• Proficiency in K6 for performance/load testing
• Experience in RestAssured and Java for API testing
• Familiarity with Docker
• Knowledge of CI pipeline tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Experience with incident management tools like JIRA
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub
• Familiarity with Agile practices and Scrum workflow
