Social Media Specialist – Series A Startup (Stealth)

About You

You are a social media storyteller who knows how to turn complex, technical subject matter into content that stops the scroll. You have hands-on experience managing multi-platform social strategies — including Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok — and you understand what makes each platform tick. You've worked in a technical industry or with a consumer product brand, which means you're comfortable translating innovation into content that resonates with a broad audience.

You bring a sharp creative eye and a data-informed mindset, using performance metrics to continuously improve what you put out. You're also a strong communicator — and in this role, that matters because you'll be collaborating closely with engineers, creatives, and leadership to capture and amplify the story behind our products.

What You'll Do & How You'll Have an Impact

  • Own and grow the company's presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok — including launching and building out our TikTok channel from the ground up
  • Develop bold, innovative social campaigns that push boundaries and reflect our brand identity
  • Produce and edit short-form video content that brings our products to life for a global audience — from concept to final post
  • Develop and execute a monthly content calendar targeting engagement growth and follower acquisition across all platforms
  • Own our social listening program, monitoring online conversations to protect and grow the company's global brand reputation
  • Track and report on platform KPIs (reach, engagement rate, follower growth, video views) on a bi-weekly basis and use those insights to iterate on content strategy
  • Work directly with our engineering and creative teams to surface compelling stories, product milestones, and behind-the-scenes moments worth sharing

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of hands-on social media management experience across multiple platforms
  • Proven ability to produce and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) — a portfolio or examples are a must
  • Experience working in a technical industry or with a consumer product brand, giving you the ability to make complex topics accessible and exciting
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and a track record of using data to improve content performance
  • Fluency in English — you'll be collaborating with global teams and creating content for an international audience
