About the Role

We are building a global consumer-facing product from the ground up, and we’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to define how this product goes to market and scales up.

In this role, you will own end-to-end go-to-market strategy, leading product and feature launches while driving user growth across both in-product and external channels. You’ll play a key role in expanding distribution across social platforms and building engaged user communities that fuel adoption and retention.

This is a highly cross-functional, hands-on role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, understands how products grow in today’s ecosystem, and can turn strong products into scalable growth engines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own GTM & Launches: Lead end-to-end go-to-market strategy and execution for product features and market expansions.

  • Drive Cross-Platform Growth: Expand product distribution across social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit).

  • Build Communities: Grow and manage engaged user communities (e.g., Reddit, Discord) to drive retention and advocacy.

  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Align with Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure successful launches and adoption.

  • Leverage Data & Insights: Use performance metrics and experiments to optimize messaging, channels, and growth strategies.

  • Scale GTM Operations: Develop playbooks, frameworks, and processes for repeatable, high-impact launches.

The Impact You’ll Make

  • Drive successful global launches that accelerate user acquisition and engagement.

  • Build scalable growth channels beyond the core product, especially across social ecosystems.

  • Establish strong user communities that fuel retention, virality, and continuous feedback loops.

  • Shape how AppLovin brings new consumer products to market at global scale.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, product operations, growth marketing, or GTM roles in tech, or content platforms.

  • Proven track record of leading product launches and driving user growth across digital channels.

  • Deep understanding of social platforms and community-building dynamics (e.g., Reddit, TikTok, Discord).

  • Strong storytelling skills—you can translate product features into compelling user-facing narratives.
Data-driven and comfortable with experimentation, funnel metrics, and performance analysis.

  • Experienced in cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, marketing, and data teams.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple launches simultaneously.

  • Builder mindset—you create structure, processes, and systems in fast-moving environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in building a product from 0-1.

  • Experience with launching consumer-based platform products.

  • Background in community-led growth or creator ecosystems.

  • Familiarity with growth loops, virality mechanics, and lifecycle marketing.

  • Experience scaling products across international markets.

Why Join This Venture

  • Build and launch a global consumer product from zero to scale.

  • Own GTM strategy with direct impact on growth and adoption.

  • Operate at the intersection of product, growth, and community.

  • Startup-level ownership backed by AppLovin’s scale, technology, and resources.

  • Shape how modern products grow—not just within apps, but across platforms and communities.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
