As a QA Engineer for this venture, you will safeguard the quality and reliability of our next generation social platform. You will design and implement comprehensive testing strategies spanning both manual validation and automated frameworks to ensure seamless media delivery, real time social interactions, and a flawless user experience. Your day will involve rapidly validating MVPs for our Creator and Content Operation platforms, moving fast without breaking the user experience. You will drive the quality direction of our platform by collaborating closely with product managers, backend engineers, and AI teams to translate ambitious ideas into stable, production ready features.


【The Impact You'll Make】

  • Validate Creator & Ops Platforms: Establish rigorous testing workflows and test plans for our high velocity creator ecosystem and internal content operation tools.
  • Build Automation Frameworks: Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites across APIs and user interfaces to accelerate our regression testing.
  • Ensure End to End Quality: Perform deep functional, integration, and performance testing on core services supporting media processing, high concurrency content delivery, and real time social features.
  • Drive Quality at Speed: Partner closely with developers and product managers to catch bugs early in the development lifecycle, enabling rapid MVP releases without sacrificing platform stability.
  • Guard Platform Integrity & UX: Validate content ecosystem safety mechanisms, notification systems, and real time engagement features including messaging and live interactions to guarantee an intuitive, high quality user experience.
  • Optimize QA Infrastructure: Continually improve our testing tools, environments, and CI/CD integration to enhance overall engineering efficiency.

 

 

【Who You Are】

 

  • 1+ years of QA engineering experience, with a track record of testing applications and building automated test suites in a fast paced environment.
  • Automation Savvy: Proficiency in writing automated test scripts using at least one major language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript and modern testing frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or Playwright.
  • Fast & Adaptable: You thrive in a startup setting and are comfortable balancing comprehensive test coverage with the reality of high velocity speed to market product cycles.
  • Product & UX Mindset: You do not just look for broken code; you care deeply about the end to end user experience and ensure features work intuitively for creators and operations teams alike.
  • Technical Deep Dive: Strong experience with API testing using Postman or RestAssured, web and mobile inspection, log analysis, and database verification to isolate and root cause defects.
  • Collaborative & Scrappy: Proven ability to own the QA lifecycle from design to release, working comfortably alongside backend and product teams in an agile environment.
 
【Bonus Qualifications】
 
  • Experience testing mobile applications for iOS and Android and managing mobile release pipelines.
  • Familiarity with performance, load, and scalability testing tools like JMeter or Locust.
  • Knowledge of video streaming protocols, media processing pipelines, or WebSockets and real time communication.
  • Experience integrating automated tests directly into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
