To deliver on this mission, our global team is composed of team members with life experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives that mirror our developers and customers around the world. At AppLovin, we are intentional about the team and culture we are building, seeking candidates who are outstanding in their own right and also demonstrate their support of others.

About the Role

We're seeking a Visual Designer to drive high-impact creative initiatives across AppLovin's brand and marketing ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of visual strategy, craft, and execution — with ownership across projects spanning marketing and web content, event graphics, decks and presentations, swag and clothing, office and environmental design, and digital product visuals. You won't be handed a template; you'll take projects from 0 to 1 with the autonomy to shape how AppLovin looks and feels across every surface.

You'll operate with significant independence in a fast-paced environment, working closely with the Branding Lead, design leads across the team, and cross-functional stakeholders depending on the project, to elevate AppLovin's visual presence globally.

A Day in the Life

  • Lead visual design projects end-to-end, from initial research and concept through final delivery across digital, print, and motion formats.
  • Build and maintain scalable visual identities grounded in strong principles — layout, grid, typography, color, and iconography.
  • Translate business goals into strategic visual solutions that are both compelling and on-brand.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen AppLovin's brand and proactively act on them without waiting to be asked.
  • Experiment and push for bold ideas — actively research emerging trends and find ways to bring them into the brand, rather than relying on the expected or the safe choice.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, context-switching fluidly as priorities shift.
  • Collaborate across disciplines — marketing, product, engineering, and beyond — while maintaining creative ownership and quality standards.
  • Explore and integrate emerging AI tools into your workflow, staying ahead of the curve on new technologies and techniques.

The Impact You'll Make

  • Shape the evolution of AppLovin's visual identity across global markets and product surfaces.
  • Raise the bar for design quality and craft across the organization.
  • Influence how AppLovin shows up to advertisers, and consumers worldwide.

Who You Are

  • Proven visual designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end project ownership — from research to final delivery. Not just an executor: someone with taste, the ability to search for it, and the craft to translate it into concrete outputs across different media and formats.
  • Deep expertise in design principles: layouts, grid systems, typography, color, and iconography, with a track record of building scalable visual identities and design systems.
  • Highly autonomous; takes initiative and drives projects forward without needing close direction.
  • Naturally curious — asks questions, seeks context, and wants to understand the why behind every brief.
  • Driven to experiment and create bold, distinctive work — stays on top of the latest trends and looks for ways to translate them into the brand, rather than settling for the comfortable or the familiar.
  • Critical thinker who identifies challenges early and arrives with solutions, not just problems.
  • Comfortable managing several projects at once in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong collaborator who keeps teams aligned and stays flexible as priorities evolve.
  • Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with working knowledge of emerging AI tools and a drive to continually master new ones.
  • Portfolio that reflects AppLovin's aesthetic — clean, modern, humanistic — is a strong advantage.
