About AppLovin

AppLovin makes technologies that help businesses of every size connect to their ideal customers. The company provides end-to-end advertising solutions for businesses to reach, monetize and grow their global audiences. For more information about AppLovin, visit: www.applovin.com.

To deliver on this mission, our global team is composed of team members with life experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives that mirror our developers and customers around the world. At AppLovin, we are intentional about the team and culture we are building, seeking candidates who are outstanding in their own right and also demonstrate their support of others.

About the role

AppLovin is one of the largest and fastest-growing ad platforms in the world. Brands of all sizes use AppLovin to grow their businesses - from small ecommerce brands rapidly growing by tens of millions in revenue annually, to large companies that do billions in revenue. Your job is to tell their stories.

You'll work within the growth marketing team to identify which client stories are worth telling, build the narrative, plan and execute the shoot (this role involves real travel), and edit the footage into something human, artful, and authentic. You’ll also partner closely with the Design team to translate our brand identity and values into a distinctive visual language across your productions, helping shape the art direction, look and feel, and overall visual execution of the final work.

What you’ll do

  • Find the story and bring it to life. Research clients, brands, and results — not just the performance numbers, but whether there's something worth watching
  • Make real people compelling on camera. Plan and conduct (or direct) interviews that feel like conversations, not Q&As, and find the moment inside a result or a founder's story that builds an emotional connection.
  • Own production end to end — pre-production, shoot, edit, delivery. Run the shoot yourself on smaller projects; brief and direct a production crew when the scale calls for it.
  • Build the system, not just the videos. Create a repeatable production cadence that keeps client stories moving from intake to final cut without the process becoming the bottleneck.

What we’re looking for

  • You think in stories, not just shots. Your first instinct is the narrative - you know what makes a person or brand’s story worth telling and what people will actually want to watch.
  • The edit is where you do your best work. You know how to take raw footage and build a story - pacing, structure, music, b-roll what gets cut.
  • You have a high bar and strong point of view on what good looks like. You can watch a video and say exactly why it works or doesn't - and you apply that standard to your own work.
  • You don’t let a shoot that’s going sideways stay bad. You instinctively read a room and adjust your approach mid-shoot if an interview isn't working.
  • Self-directed - doesn't need to be managed toward the next project.
  • 5+ years of experience in video content creation with a proven track record of producing standout and original work, as evidenced by portfolio.
  • Hands-on experience shooting and editing high-quality video content using tools like Premiere Pro.

Nice to have

  • You get subjects comfortable on camera and pull out a real answer, not a rehearsed one
  • Being able to produce stories also outside of the video production domain
  • Understanding of post-production workflows with tools like After Effects
  • Awareness of the latest GenAI tools and workflows for video and static content

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

An "active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran" means a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized under the laws administered by the Department of Defense.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
