CueBox is a startup building modern software for performing arts and cultural organizations (e.g., theaters, symphonies, venues, universities and more). These organizations are vital to our communities; they inspire, connect and delight us. Yet, these organizations have been traditionally underserved by technology. We’re changing that and helping them thrive with an all-in-one and best-in-class system. Our product meaningfully increases our customers' revenue / audience base and saves them time by streamlining workflows in ticketing, fundraising, marketing, education and more.
We have a fast growing customer base and are expanding both in the US and internationally. We are looking to add a chief of staff to work directly with our CEO.
Location
CueBox is headquartered in New York City, and we are a hybrid workplace. Our team is in the office 3 days a week Tuesday-Thursday.
What You’ll Do
As the chief of staff, you will work directly with our CEO/co-founder to drive the company’s sales/growth and lead client-related initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in every facet of the company’s business operations. This role is ideal for a self starter and quick learner who is passionate about the arts, working hard at a mission-oriented startup, and is excited to tackle/lead growth and operational initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead new inbound sales strategic projects from partnerships to organic content initiatives to accelerate company growth and build company brand
- Support traditional outbound sales strategies to achieve company goals including opportunities analysis & research
- Lead client initiatives in onboarding and support
- Refine our client management and onboarding process to improve operational efficiency, enhance client communication, and improve alignment across multiple stakeholders (client, data, business)
- Develop relationships with our clients to understand their needs and communicate with various functions (product, engineering, design)
- Assist the CEO on key product/company strategies and research in order to drive innovative solutions and growth
Who You Are
- Self-starter, resourceful and quick learner who can own and solve complex or ambiguous business problems
- Excellent client management skills and can lead client-related initiatives and meetings
- Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills and can communicate efficiently with different stakeholders within the company and with external partners / clients
- Ability to drive execution and deliver results in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Passionate about the arts / cultural industry and excited to work at a mission-oriented startup
- Open, collaborative and empathetic
Minimum Requirements
- 2-3+ years of management consulting experience at a top US-based management consulting company
- Client-facing / client-management experience
- Strong interest in technology and/or arts/culture
- Proficient at using basic MS tools such as Excel, Powerpoint
- Work authorization in the US (we do not offer visa sponsorship at this time)
- Work 3 days a week in office in our NYC office
- (bonus) sales/growth strategy experience
- (bonus) Technical skills including SQL

- Base salary $90-120k
