Every year, over half a million students compete in college athletics programs across the U.S., making up a $20B+ industry mired in complex regulation and operated by multi-stakeholder back-offices. At WinWon, our mission is to provide these athletic departments with a software solution that reduces that complexity through automation and a seamless workflow control center.

WinWon is a venture-backed startup building modern software for collegiate athletic departments of all sizes. We are looking for founding engineers who love building impactful products, who care deeply about customer needs, and who are excited about collaborating with both the CTO and CEO to build a revolutionary product. 

Location: We are looking for founding engineers to join us on a hybrid working format in NYC. We welcome any applicants who are authorized to work in the United States.

What You’ll Do

As a Founding Engineer, you will work closely with the co-founders on initiatives such as: 

• Building the foundation for our end-to-end platform product and company culture
• Making design decisions for our technology stack and owning portions of the system
• Leading projects to completion
• Ideating on and implementing feature enhancements that solve real customer friction points
• Fostering relationships with our customers to understand their workflows and pain points
• Refining the developer experience for yourself and the team using CI/CD tools

Compensation: $125k-$170k cash compensation and generous equity (dependent on experience)

What We Are Looking For:

• 5+ years of engineering experience
• Quick thinker that enjoys a fast-paced environment and is not afraid to get things wrong and pivot
• Problem solver who thrives when given autonomy for problems without clear solutions
• Customer centered engineer that understands the best solution is the one that solves a client’s pain point
• Strong communicator that can break down complex business problems into scalable, maintainable code 

Bonus Criteria If You Have:

• Experience working within all parts of the stack
• Previous experience at an early-stage startup
• Experience building mobile or web applications
