We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented System Analyst to join our dynamic IT team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing business requirements, designing technical solutions, and ensuring the seamless integration of systems to meet organizational goals. This position requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders


Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and assess system requirements.
    • Identify potential system improvements and recommend innovative solutions.
  • System Design & Development:
    • Design, develop, and document system architecture and workflows in alignment with business requirements.
    • Work closely with developers, testers, and other IT teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
    • Oversee system integration and ensure compatibility across platforms.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage system development lifecycle (SDLC) for assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks.
    • Monitor project progress, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance:
    • Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and performance.
    • Identify and resolve system issues, ensuring a smooth deployment process.
  • Support & Maintenance:
    • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot system issues as needed.
    • Document technical processes and provide training to end-users when required.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Act as a bridge between business units and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in system analysis, application development, or a similar role.
    • Proven experience in managing end-to-end project lifecycles.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in system modeling techniques and tools (e.g., UML, flowcharts).
    • Hands-on experience with programming languages (e.g., PHP, Java, Python, .NET) and database systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle).
    • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP or CRM solutions.
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and integration technologies is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Language Proficiency:
    • Fluency in English and Cantonese is required. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
