We are seeking a talented Analytics Engineer to join our Data Platform Vector team in Barcelona. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing data to build excellent data pipelines, supporting data engineering, data quality and data governance processes, and enhancing our data infrastructure. 

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers of the Data Platform Vector team to achieve the goals and objectives of the domain;
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Analysts of the ML Vector team to create the data infrastructure required for machine learning;
• Collect, clean, and analyze large amounts of data from various sources and generate actionable insights;
• Deliver data as a product: building test data pipelines according to requirements and helping with its implementation on the prod environment with a focus on optimization, automation, quality and performance; 
• Create data quality checks (we use SODA) and be responsible for incident process and data observability results;
• Implement data catalog and documentation;
• Support and participate in the data governance process.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Analytics Engineer / Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role, 3+ years;
• Advanced knowledge and substantial experience with Python (Pandas, Numpy, basics of Python development);
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (ClickHouse will be a plus);
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g. PySpark), orchestration (Airflow, Dagster), Git;
• Deep understanding of data engineering and modern data stack (experience with dbt, Docker, Kafka will be a plus);
• Solid understanding of data quality and data observability concepts (experience with a SODA, Great Expectations and other DQ tools will be a plus);
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present the results of your work to non-technical stakeholders.
  

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Grafana will be a plus);
• Experience with Databricks / Snowflake;
• Experience in the ad-tech sector;
• Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
