We are seeking an experienced and visionary Strategic HR Leader to join our team. This role will be instrumental in building and evolving HR processes and strategies that set Appodeal apart in the industry, with a clear goal of growing our team to 1,500+ passionate, purpose-driven individuals. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is dedicated to evolving scalable HR processes and creating a company culture where employees can discover and grow their talents, contributing both personally and professionally to Appodeal’s mission: To help every person discover and grow their talents.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute a forward-looking HR strategy that aligns with Appodeal's 10-year and 3-year vision, aiming to create industry-leading people processes and talent development programs. Regularly review and update the HR strategy to meet evolving business needs.
- Develop and communicate a compelling EVP that differentiates Appodeal in the marketplace and fosters long-term employee engagement and loyalty, creating a strong employer brand that attracts top talent.
- Drive processes to attract, retain, develop, and grow a world-class team of over 1,500 individuals. Establish Appodeal as a top employer with renowned leadership and talent development programs, making it a recognized leader in employee satisfaction and growth.
- Lead the creation of a high-performance culture by developing processes for performance reviews, goal-setting, and regular feedback, ensuring a supportive environment that empowers employees at all levels.
- Foster a culture of curiosity, purpose, and growth, where employees are motivated to achieve their best, enhancing overall employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Foster an inclusive environment by creating programs that promote diversity, equity, and belonging, ensuring all employees feel valued, supported, and encouraged to bring their unique perspectives.
- Develop initiatives that focus on talent identification, growth, and succession planning, ensuring everyone at Appodeal discovers and grows their talents and is in the right role to apply their unique abilities and thrive.
- Design and implement competitive, above-market rewards and recognition programs, including generous bonuses and stock options, to acknowledge individual contributions and promote long-term commitment to company goals.
- Establish scalable HR processes that drive operational efficiency and set an above-market standard for how HR functions operate and adapt to the needs of a growing, global organization. Regularly review and enhance these processes as the company scales.
- Drive the adoption of HR technology to automate processes, enhance the employee experience, and support data-driven decision-making as the company expands globally.
- Leverage HR analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs, guide decision-making, and continuously improve HR practices aligned with business outcomes.
- Champion change management initiatives to foster adaptability and resilience, preparing the organization for continuous growth and transformation.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in HR leadership roles, with a successful track record of scaling teams, changing HR processes ahead of the curve, and building strategic HR initiatives in a high-growth, tech-focused environment. Experience in AdTech or tech industries is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing HR teams and work collaboratively across all levels of an organization.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to design and implement innovative HR strategies that align with long-term company goals and values.
- Talent Development Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in developing talent programs that foster leadership, growth, and a continuous learning culture.
- Global Perspective: Experience leading HR in a multinational context, understanding cultural nuances, and ensuring scalable HR practices for a globally distributed team.
- Results-driven: A focus on measurable outcomes, with a history of implementing successful, scalable HR processes and programs that support rapid organizational growth.
- Key Performance Indicators: Develop and track HR KPIs that align with business goals, ensuring HR initiatives contribute directly to company growth and employee satisfaction.
