We are seeking a visionary and entrepreneurial leader to head our Game Innovation & Partnerships department. The primary goal of this role is to expand our portfolio by discovering and developing the next generation of hit mobile games. You will be responsible for building a team to create and test game prototypes, identifying high-potential concepts, and partnering with early-stage studios to bring innovative games to market. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our portfolio and secure a first-mover advantage in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Build and lead the Game Innovation team to develop and test game prototypes based on emerging trends and popular games.
- Oversee the rapid prototyping process to validate game concepts and identify high-potential opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and player behavior to anticipate new gameplay innovations and emerging genres.
- Scout and identify promising early-stage games and studios for partnership opportunities.
- Negotiate partnership agreements with small studios and developers to co-develop and launch innovative games.
- Manage department’s internal team (Product Development, User Acquisition, Monetization) to ensure successful game scaling and market fit.
- Develop and execute strategies to secure first-mover advantages in new game genres.
- Set and manage KPIs for the department, ensuring alignment with the company's growth and profitability goals.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in game development, publishing, or product leadership roles.
- Proven track record in scouting and developing hit games or managing successful game partnerships.
- Strong understanding of mobile gaming market trends and player preferences.
- Experience in building and managing teams focused on rapid prototyping.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision and short-term execution.
- Advanced data analysis skills to identify opportunities and assess market potential.
- Experience in early-stage game development or startup environments.
- Familiarity with game analytics and A/B testing processes.
