About the role:
Apprentice is looking for several Business Development Representatives to add to our team who are experienced in driving top-of-the-funnel leads and who have demonstrated success in converting leads in a high-volume environment. This position can be located fully remotely, with expectations to travel to the office quarterly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive top of the funnel lead generation for Sales Executives
- Research, identify, and prospect into ideal customer profiles via outbound channels (email, phone, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Qualify inbound leads and route qualified prospects to Sales Executives
- Relentlessly drive stage progression
- Co-own pipeline creation goals and consistently meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly activity metrics and quota
- Personalize outreach with relevance and insight (no spray-and-pray approach)
- Use tools like SFDC, Salesloft, Zoominfo, Apollo, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc. to manage outreach and track performance
- Partner closely with Sales Executives and Marketing to iterate on messaging and targeting
- Serve as a consultative partner during discovery calls
- Contribute feedback on market trends, objections, and insights to help improve our playbooks
- In depth knowledge or ability to learn SaaS and manufacturing
- Strong written and oral communication skills for director level and above audiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
- Prior experience in manufacturing and SaaS, with a strong preference for both
- At least 1+ years of relevant work experience in SaaS and Life Sciences (or another related field)
- Prior experience in manufacturing, life sciences, biotech, and pharmaceuticals is highly desired but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work
