Business Development Representative
Appstar, a leader in POS technology and payment processing services, is seeking the right candidate to join our Business Development team. A Business Development Representative (BDR) plays an integral role in our sales acquisition strategy. The ideal candidate for this role excels in building rapport and connecting with people over the phone. The BDRs who succeed at Appstar possess a natural talent for forging relationships and have perfected the art of frame control in their conversations.

You will:
- Build and initiate relationships with business owners in the SMB space
- Collaborate with Solutions Specialists to create custom solutions for small business owners
- Make a high volume of outbound calls from in-house and self-generated leads
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Participate in continuous team and individual training
- Generate opportunities using out-of-the-box thinking and through additional technologies such as social media, text, and email
You have:
- 1-2 years of experience in inside sales (preferably B2B with a quick sales cycle)
- High energy and a positive, engaging attitude that connects with clients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
