What will you be responsible for?

You are joining AppViewX at an exciting stage of the company’s growth. After being acquired in late 2024 by Haveli Investments, we are expanding the team across the globe to forge new paths for growth across our product and technology teams and go-to-market. You’ll work with a very talented team to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of the product roadmap for AppViewX’s AVXOne platform.

As the Director of Product Management, you play a key role in the success of AppViewX’s products in the marketplace.  The position requires a strong foundation in software product management that balances market needs with company strategy and heavily relies upon management and communication skills.  Additionally, a technical understanding of enterprise software, customer IT environments and rapidly evolving security and compliance technologies is crucial. This role will work with the CPO to set the vision and roadmap for the AVXOne product line. He/she will work closely with executives across the company to balance the roadmap across innovation and customer success initiatives and to effectively communicate the vision and roadmap plans internally and externally.

  • Work closely with the CPO and other executive team members to define the vision and strategy for AppViewX’s products based on market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and company goals 
  • Develop and maintain a rolling 12-month product roadmap by collecting feedback from customers, prospects, partners, and internal teams; work with Finance to create an ROI-based view of roadmap investment requests
  • Manage a team of product managers and/or product owners
  • Work closely with the product operations team to ensure on time delivery of new releases
  • Provide direction to Engineering through the prioritization of product backlogs in an agile development environment 
  • Conduct market and competitive research, analyzing and synthesizing signals from multiple sources: users, field teams, market data, competitive analysis, and others 
  • Work with product marketing to develop product positioning in support marketing communications and other content creation 
  • Offer subject matter expertise to support go-to-market activities, including development of messaging, presentations/scripts, and FAQs that enable field resources and communicates our products’ value proposition and differentiation
  • Serve as a product evangelist communicating the AppViewX vision and direction internally and to the market, including customers, partners, prospects, analysts 
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the CPO

What do we require?

  • 10+ years in product management roles preferably in an enterprise B2B/SaaS environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or other relevant field; MBA preferred
  • People management experience, including hiring and mentoring high-performance teams 
  • Demonstrated success in working with engineering teams to plan, develop, refine, and launch successful enterprise software products 
  • Experience conducting customer and user research and using data and analytics tools to prioritize a product roadmap
  • Must be a self-starter with an inquisitive mind-set with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Passion for fast-paced, rapidly changing environments; you are a team player, have a "get it done" attitude 
  • Constantly learn, innovate, evolve; set high professional benchmarks
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally when required (~25%)
