The Role 

We are seeking a hands-on Director of Product Marketing to lead product marketing strategy and execution across positioning, product launches, and sales enablement. This role manages the current and future product marketing team while remaining deeply involved in execution. 

You will partner closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing leadership to drive product adoption, pipeline growth, and revenue impact. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong execution, exceptional presentation skills, and a clear sense of ownership for business outcomes. 

This role reports to the VP of Marketing. 

What You’ll Do 

Lead Product Marketing Strategy & Team 

  • Lead and develop the product marketing function, managing and mentoring Product Marketing Managers. 
  • Define product marketing priorities aligned to company growth objectives. 
  • Serve as a strategic voice across Product, Marketing, and Revenue leadership. 
  • Balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution. 

 

Own Product Launches 

  • Drive launch planning, cross-functional alignment, and execution across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. 
  • Develop launch messaging, enablement programs, and supporting assets. 
  • Ensure launches drive adoption, pipeline, and revenue impact. 

 

Drive Sales Enablement & Revenue Impact 

  • Develop messaging frameworks, battlecards, talk tracks, and training programs. 
  • Deliver compelling enablement sessions to sales and customer-facing teams. 
  • Continuously improve enablement based on field feedback and business metrics. 
  • Identify enablement opportunities that accelerate pipeline, conversion, and expansion. 

 

Positioning, Messaging & Market Insights 

  • Define differentiated product positioning and value propositions. 
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer value. 
  • Lead competitive intelligence and market analysis. 
  • Provide insights that influence product strategy and roadmap direction. 

 

Cross-Functional Leadership 

  • Partner closely with Product Management on roadmap alignment and product strategy. 
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to drive adoption and growth. 
  • Work effectively with individual contributors and senior leadership across global teams. 
  • Operate successfully within a distributed organization with strong collaboration across U.S. and India teams. 

 

Customer & Market Engagement 

  • Engage customers and prospects to understand needs and validate messaging. 
  • Develop customer proof points including case studies and success stories. 
  • Represent product marketing internally and externally through presentations and thought leadership. 

 

Business Metrics Ownership 

  • Define and track success metrics for product marketing initiatives. 
  • Use data to inform strategy and improve go-to-market effectiveness. 
  • Demonstrate impact on pipeline, ARR growth, product adoption, and retention. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

Required 

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B product marketing or related roles. 
  • Experience managing product marketing teams while remaining hands-on. 
  • Proven success leading product launches and go-to-market programs. 
  • Strong sales enablement experience and ability to train customer-facing teams. 
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills. 
  • Experience working cross-functionally across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. 
  • Strong strategic thinking with demonstrated business impact. 
  • Data-driven mindset with ownership of business outcomes. 
  • Experience working with global teams. 
  • Open for travel upto 30 - 40%

 

Preferred 

  • Experience in enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or platform technologies. 
  • Experience collaborating with teams in India or global distributed environments. 
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles.
