Staff DevOps Engineer

As our first DevOps hire, you will have a unique opportunity to establish the foundation, devise processes, and shape the DevOps culture on our team. You will lead efforts to build secure and reliable infrastructure, ensure high availability and scalability, and support our backend and smart contract teams in delivering high-quality code.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer role, proficient in at least one backend development language
• Proven track record in architecting, deploying, and maintaining scalable, high-availability infrastructure.
• Expertise in bare metal infrastructure—planning, provisioning, and maintaining physical servers.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud administration.
• Strong security mindset, including experience with access controls (SSO, 2FA, VPNs), endpoint security, intrusion detection, and attack vector monitoring for cloud and bare-metal infrastructure.
• Expertise in setting up CI/CD pipelines, observability stacks, alerting systems, and incident management processes.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong system administration skills for Linux servers, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with blockchain nodes and decentralized infrastructure.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience running validator nodes at scale.
• Expertise in networking stack optimizations.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
