About The Role
We are seeking an individual looking to enhance their marketing career in a position that will allow behind-the-scenes access to a rapidly growing professional services business. This role is on our Marketing Team, helping position Aptitude 8 as the #1 technical consulting partner in the HubSpot ecosystem.
In this role, you will work directly with our Demand Gen Manager on tasks spanning copywriting, social media management, event coordination, advertising, and much more. You will have ample opportunity to learn new skills, collaborate across departments, and have a direct impact on the success of our revenue goals.
A normal day in this role: In this role, you will find that each day looks a little different. On a Monday, you might be putting together the next HubSpot User Group event, procuring swag and promotional items for another event, helping to coordinate a partnership co-marketing initiative, and fleshing out an outline for a tactical eBook. On Tuesday, you might find yourself helping write emails for a lead gen initiative, making updates to our website, throwing together a social media graphic, or asking for status updates from event venues.
About You:
You consider yourself a motivated, curious, independent, and innovative person who is ready to dive head-first into any challenge. You’re not afraid to ask questions, willing to do some digging/be resourceful, and confident enough in your opinions to provide edits, feedback, and ideas. You identify as a marketer, you are well rounded within the marketing function, and you love working and collaborating as a team. Key items of importance are that you are a skilled planner, detail-oriented, can manage yours and your team’s time effectively, and are very organized to keep track of multiple tasks and projects the team is working on. We are a fully remote team, so tech savviness is key.
- 2+ years of experience in B2B Marketing either in an agency or in a junior role on an in-house marketing team.
- Incredibly detail oriented, organized, and love making a plan and sticking to it.
- Well versed in checklists, SOPs, and are excellent at holding your team and vendors accountable.
- Possess a strong creative drive and enjoy things like graphic design, copywriting, branding, and video (advanced proficiency not required but huge plus)
- You’re an early adopter of AI and know how to leverage it to make yourself more efficient.
- You love to organize and plan events, and you have a knack for project management.
- Proficient at keeping tabs on spend, budget, and working with finance.
- A self-starter and able to work towards a solution with minimal direction.
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and are undaunted by something you’ve never done before.
- You love learning new things and excel at gaining expertise through research.
- You are a utility player and seamlessly flex into new tasks and requests.
- You love marketing automation, specifically the HubSpot platform.
- HubSpot certifications or other relevant experience are a huge plus.
Salary Range: $65-75k/yr. We recognize that candidates bring a variety of backgrounds and skills, and we’re committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation aligned with each individual’s expertise.
